Save Money On Amazon With 3 Simple Steps. As parents our time can be precious trying to get everything done. It can be a never ending cycle of preparing meals, getting kids ready for school, taking them to parties, washing and cleaning and then you need a rest of course.
This is why the convenience of a one stop shop like Amazon has really taken off with families. You can be pretty sure they will be selling what you are looking for, the price will generally be low compared with other retailers and delivery will be usually be quick. The problem is that when you become reliant on one store, how can you be sure you’re getting the best price?
I’ve seen some great Amazon money saving tips, but sometimes if you don’t have too much time available to buy what you need, it can be difficult trying to follow a long list of steps to get a good deal. Therefore in this post i’m going to list 3 simple steps you can quickly follow to save money on Amazon when buying things.
Save Money On Amazon With 3 Simple Steps
1. Is the Price a good deal?
Amazon are constantly amending their prices for products, depending upon a large number of factors. The main thing you should be sure of is that the price you are paying now is a fair one. To see recent price changes for the product you intend to buy, copy and paste the URL of the Amazon product page into the homepage of the website: camelcamelcamel.com.
This website tracks Amazon price changes over time, so when you paste in the Amazon URL it will show a graph of how the price has changed. If the price looks higher than it has been, then you should be wary of paying that much. You can also sign up to receive email alerts if the price drops below a level.
2. Check Money Saving Voucher Deals
You can also save money on Amazon by simply visiting a voucher website that lists voucher codes. There is usually a big list available, with varying discounts. Be sure to select the one that is relevant to what your buying and offers the best discount.
3. Save Money on Shipping
To save money on Amazon for delivery, ensure the total of your order is £20 or more, so if necessary try to combine items you need into a single order if possible. You will then qualify for free super saver delivery as long as you don’t mind waiting three to five days for your order to arrive.
Another thing to consider is upgrading to Amazon Prime, for free next day delivery. It currently costs £95 per year so if you order regularly from Amazon this could save you money over the year. If your not sure about upgrading, also consider that there are several other benefits such as access to Amazon Prime Video. You can see the full list of benefits here. Another idea is to do a free Amazon Prime one month trial at a time when your likely to be making a lot of orders, such as around Christmas. You can then cancel the trial after the month.
There are lots of other tips which you can easily find via Google but I have purposely tried to keep this list as simple as possible.
