Summer Wardrobe Wishlist

The weather is definitely warming up and after the beautiful sunny days we have had recently I realised that I need to start updating my summer wardrobe. I’m really looking forward to the summer and of course I want to be ready for it. I have chosen some items that I would like to buy to look chic this summer. Check them out below!

I was looking for a maxi dress that has some colour and that can be a real summer statement. While looking, I came across this beautiful blue maxi dress from JD Williams. I have some events to attend that I would love to look great at so I think this dress will definitely do the trick! I was also looking for a new denim jacket as I think it’s the perfect combination to wear with dresses. You can’t go wrong with a denim jacket and it can be so useful when it gets cooler in the evening. I love this denim jacket from H&M.

I was also desperately in need of some new sandals for the summer. I always find it very difficult when it’s time to choose new shoes as for some reason my feet are not very easy to please. I will have to blame this on my mother as I think I have inherited this problem from her, LOL! My feet work better with wedges so I always try to look for those first. As well as being comfortable, I like to feel and look taller so wedges are a win, win for me. I love these wedges I found from GAP!

I have been looking to buy a black hat for a long time. I think they look fantastic and gives that chic look that I like. It goes really well with a lot of clothes so it is the perfect accessory. I think everybody should have a hat in their wardrobe. I don’t mind the colour as it could be brown too but I think black can make for a more stylish look. I found this gorgeous black hat in ASOS and I’m in love with it already!

I was also looking for a white summer dress because you should always have one in your summer wardrobe. It is just classic. I found this pretty white summer dress from JD Williams. It is the perfect summer dress in cool, crisp cotton broderie anglaise. With a notch neckline and self-fabric belt, this pretty Joanna Hope dress has a retro feel. It’s fully lined with pockets to the side seam. What is there not to love, right?

Finally, I needed a black clutch bag to complete the look and I was lucky to find one from ASOS. This cute bag has a real leather outer, tassel trim, and is fully lined with zip top and also has an interior zip pocket which is so practical. Just the perfect finish for this look.

I think this look will be fantastic to wear during the summer days or nights. I’m so looking forward to getting it so I can show you how it looks on me! Fingers crossed that it will look exactly how I have pictured it in my head, lol. Wish me luck!! 🙂
