Trending Advent Calendars for Christmas 2021

amomentwithfranca · 4 November 2021 · 15 Comments

Last year I published a list of Trending Advent Calendars for 2020 and people found it useful, so I decided to do the same this year too. I have been looking for new Advent Calendars to share with you after attending different Christmas shows and Blogging Conferences with Christmas as a theme, so I was able to see what is now trending this year.

I personally love the countdown to Christmas and I think it makes it even more exciting to do it when you open an Advent Calendar door each day during December. We all feel so much joy doing that every morning. After my research, I came across a few interesting Advent Calendars to open this year, so I thought it might be worth sharing with you.

This is a list of Advent Calendars for different members of the family to enjoy, so you will see options for the men, the lovely ladies, of course for the kids and even for our furry friends. This way you can choose what best suits your family.

PETS

1. Lily’s Kitchen’s Advent Calendars For Dogs and Cats

Advent calendar for Dogs, RRP £10

I would like to start this list with an unusual Advent Calendar. Whilst pet parents are indulging in festive treats, why not also treat our four-legged friends to Christmas goodies of their own. I am sure many pet owners would be delighted to know that they can also treat their four-legged friends to their very own advent calendar!

Advent Calendar for Cats, RRP £10

Lily’s Kitchen, the award-winning producer of proper food for pets, is back with their Advent calendar for Dogs and Advent Calendar for Cats generously filled with a selection of delicious treats, including Rise and Shines and the famous Bedtime Biscuits.

Now, pets and pet parents can countdown to Christmas together! Lily’s Kitchen is available in leading supermarkets across the UK.

LADIES

2. Glossybox ‘Surprise Me’ Advent Calendar 2021

I have had a subscription with Glossybox since 2014! I am a fan and I love my monthly Glossybox box! Since they started selling Advent Calendars I have been always first in line although I missed one year. I also featured it last year and, of course, I have to feature it this year too.

I pre-booked mine since the moment they promoted it back in September and they delivered it a couple of weeks ago. It comes with 25 luxurious beauty treats worth over £465 including savvy skincare, makeup marvels and beauty for your bathroom shelf and more! You will enjoy it all the way up to Xmas.

If you are a subscriber, you can get the Glossybox ‘Surprise Me’ Advent Calendar 2021 for £85.00 but for non-subscribers it has an RPP of £105.00. I know it is not cheap but it is a lovely treat. The box is beautiful and of amazing quality! I can’t wait to start opening it in December!

3. Charlotte Rhys – Advent Calendar

Scent specialist brand, Charlotte Rhys has launched their Charlotte Rhys – Advent Calendar 2021(RRP £199.00) ahead of Christmas – packed full of opulent fragrance and beauty treats. They have carefully crafted an exceptional advent calendar that aims to entice and excite beauty lovers in the lead up until Christmas.

I was sent a couple of products from the calendar to try out and have a little taste of what the Advent Calendar might be and I must say that I was sold on them straight away! I got their Hand & Body Lotion Fragrance No 17 and their Eau De Toilette Fragrance Oud Blanche that smell absolutely gorgeous. Now they have left me wanting more! So I am now thinking to treat myself to another Advent Calendar!

This stylish advent calendar puts a twist on a treasured tradition and leaves you feeling and smelling great. Featuring a selection of Charlotte Rhys’ signature scents to enjoy, the calendar makes the perfect pre-Christmas present for friends and family or just an indulgent gift to yourself! In the drawers you’ll find 4 x 100g Bath Soap, 4 x 50g Perfumed Candle, 4 x 30ml Hand Cream, 4 x 100ml Body Lotion, 4 x 100g Supreme Body Crème, 4 x 10ml Eau de Parfum

4. Fabulosa Scented Tea Lights Advent Calendar

If you are a Fabulosa fan like me, this is definitely the Advent Calendar for you. I love the fragrances of Fabulosa products so I was so excited to receive their new Fabulosa Scented Tea Lights Advent Calendar (RRP £3.99).

This Advent Calendar is definitely a fantastic alternative to traditional chocolate advent calendars. From Sugared Almonds and Festive Lights to Winter Cherries and Fairy Dust, every day will bring a new scent to your home on the count down to Christmas! Available from Amazon.

MEN

5. Draper Tools Advent Calendar

This is the perfect Advent Calendar for the men in your life or any DIY lover. Draper Tools brings you the ultimate Christmas countdown with its brand new Draper Tools Advent Calendar (RRP £34.99) featuring 54 tools and associated bits hidden behind its doors. Open each door to build your very own mini toolset in time for the big day.

The calendar includes a precision screwdriver handle, a hex magnetic screwdriver bit holder and plenty of screwdriver bits for all situations – all contained in a robust case to keep everything safe and organised. For every Advent Calendar sold, Draper Tools is donating £1 to the charity Tools for Self Reliance. How lovely is that?

Nick has already put his eyes on this Advent Calendar and cannot wait to start opening it in December! Available from Amazon.

KIDS

6. PLAYin Choc Advent Calendar

PLAYin Choc is like a Kinder Egg, but with fairly traded dairy-free chocolate and no landfill waste left over! They have 2 options of Advent Calendars to choose from, so you can either get their 24 day Advent Calendar (RRP £55.00) or their 12 day Advent Calendar (RRP £27.50). The latter is the one I have received and it is shown in the pictures. Behind each of the 12 or 24 windows, you’ll find a super-cute festive cardboard toy plus two individually wrapped, deliciously creamy, organic dairy-free chocolates and fun facts card. This makes up three treats for your little ones every day! Each planet-friendly collectable doubles up as a super-cute decoration.

Their range is organic, vegan, avoids potential allergens (soy, gluten and dairy-free), contains no refined sugar, is environmentally responsible and uses only recycled recyclable and compostable materials and is certified slave-free chocolate. And their chocolate is wrapped in clear film that is 100% plant-based and completely home compostable.

The box looks lovely and the outer sleeve of the advent can also be opened up into a landscape to play with all 12 or 24 toys that are inside the calendar. My girls are really excited to open this Advent Calendar! Available from Amazon.

7. Smiggle Advent Calendar

We had a Smiggle Advent Calendar last year and it was fantastic, so we are so excited that this year their 2021 Smiggle Advent Calendar (RRP £30.00 but it is 50% off online at the moment) is back with a super special countdown to Christmas, celebrating ten years of smiles and giggles for kids of all ages.

Their Advent Calendar is packed full of 25 limited edition fan fave Smiggle goodies, plus the chance to find one of 30 lucky Golden Tickets inside to win a HUGE £500 Smiggle shopping spree! And to celebrate ten years of Advent Calendar fun-times, Smiggle will match the first ten Golden Ticket winners with a £500 Smiggle Gift Card for the winner’s nominated school! How cool is that!

They also have a brand new Mystic Beauty Advent Calendar (RRP £26.00) this year for the beauty fans! Comes with 24 goodies including Bath Fizzy’s, Nail Polish, Lip Gloss and more! This Advent Calendar is available in-store now!

8. Gibsons Merry Mischief Jigsaw Puzzle Advent Calendar

If your kids love puzzles, this is the Advent Calendar for them! Gibsons Merry Mischief Jigsaw Puzzle Advent Calendar (RRP £30.00) is an arts and crafts jigsaw puzzle advent calendar.

Behind their 22 doors, you’ll find a festive shaped puzzle (snowman, tree, bauble, stocking). Each design features a mischievous animal getting in the Christmas spirit. And behind two doors are puzzle glue and ribbon, so you can craft your own decorations.

It is suitable for age 8+ and available from Gibsons, Selfridges and Amazon. If you would like to win one, you can check out my blog post Win A Gibsons Merry Mischief Jigsaw Puzzle Advent Calendar and enter this GIVEAWAY! Good luck!

9. HARIBO Advent Calendar 2021

The new glow in the dark HARIBO Advent Calendar (RRP £5) is another alternative for candy lovers. Bringing together family favourite HARIBO’s from across the globe, you’ll enjoy a merry mix of treats including Tropifrutti, Goldbears and MAOAM.

It is a tasty alternative to the traditional chocolate calendar, you’ll have bags of fun this Christmas! Available in ASDA, B&M Morrisons and Amazon.

10. Kinnerton Advent Calendar

And last but not least, we cannot forget a traditional chocolate Advent Calendar and why not get a Kinnerton Advent Calendar.

This is a nut-free chocolate calendar and comes in 2 available options. You can get either Paw Patrol or Peppa Pig so your little ones can choose which they would prefer.

My girls are excited to start the countdown to Christmas with some chocolate every morning! Yum!

Have you got your Advent Calendars for this year sorted? What do you think of this Advent Calendar list?

Sounds awful but it hadn’t even crossed my mind that you could possibly get an advent calendar for your pet or even one that the husband might like, (takes a lot to impress him!) Food for thought!

✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
