Trunki Travel Toybox Review

amomentwithfranca · 9 October 2015 · 138 Comments

I was so delighted when the lovely people at Trunki asked me to review their Travel Toybox. They have designed this product with the idea of keeping your kids toys tidy both at home as well as on the move! Now you can easily take toys and games with you for your children wherever you go. Isn’t it great?

Trunki Travel Toyboxes Review & Giveaway FI

For those that don’t know, Trunki is an award-winning British company that  believes that travel should be just as fun an experience as arriving at your destination. The company is environmentally conscious, in that their ride-on products are made extra durable so can be handed down and reused by other generations. They are designed for disassembly too meaning they can easily be recycled.

The Travel Toybox is the world’s first ride-on, pushed around travelling toy box. It is perfect for making tidying up fun, provides compact storage, is perfect for car travel and taking with you on camping trips! It is not just for storing toys and keeping things tidy, it also keeps your little ones super entertained.

Play time with the travel toyboxes

Bella was so excited about the boxes since the moment they arrived. They look fantastic with those bright, fun colours. She has been playing with them everyday.

They can be used as a ride-on train

[URIS id=2356]

This is such a great function. It adds so much fun to these boxes. Bella loves this feature. The whole idea of going around pulling the other box pretending it is a little train or tow truck is just fantastic!

Functionality

[URIS id=2364]

You can see here all the different options that you could use this travel toybox for. You can use it as a a) ride-on train, b) to pack your kids toys, c) as a rocker and d) as a cart.

These boxes are stackable. This is so easy to do and it leaves your home incredibly tidy! You can also link them up and attach as many as you want! Isn’t it wonderful!? 🙂

Sibling time with the travel toyboxes

[URIS id=2376]

Even my little Sienna had a great time with them. Of course, she is still too little to enjoy all the functionality but she really likes simply putting things in and out of the box. It is so funny and cute to watch.

IMG_4635

…where is Bella? Peek-a-Boo!! LOL

Let’s have fun, let’s have a race

Bella simply loves this option. She just pushes herself as fast as she can from one side of the room to the other side. The idea of having a race with another child is something that Bella is looking forward to when she has a playdate. I couldn’t demonstrate that because Sienna is too little to do a race with her.

Portable Travel Toyboxes

[URIS id=2392]

These boxes are so light that they are very easy to lift and take them wherever you want so it is perfect to put them in the car and travel to Grandma’s house for the weekend, bringing along all the toys that the girls want to play with. Or if you go camping, the girls can bring along their favourites toys too. It is so practical and handy!

Video

Please watch our video below where we do a demonstration with the girls which shows even better all of the features of this travel toybox. For this video, Nick and I decided to swap places, with him doing the demonstration whilst I was filming and directing from behind the camera. To my surprise, I think he did a pretty good job. What do you think?

Trunki Travel Toybox Review

We were very pleased with the toybox and I will definitely recommend them to you. It is not just a pretty, colourful and modern looking product but it is also very practical to be able to keep some favourites toys on hand or ready to go away. On top of that it doubles as a ride-on toy to either make a train or perhaps race with friends.

You can visit the Trunki website here or visit them on Facebook. The boxes are also available to buy on the Trunki website shop.

These are the coolest toy boxes ever! I think they are more fun than some of the toys in them lol There are so many games the kids could play with the boxes themselves, like train. I love the handle on top too. Great photos & review Franca! x

These look brilliant. Will have to look into one, as I’m always trying to keep the toys sensibly organised & stored when we go places. I don’t like to make a mess of other people’s houses with toys everywhere, and it is easier to not loose the toys if you have sensible storage whilst away. #KCACOLS

These look amazing & love your detailed review and all the pictures. Your girls look like they live the boxes. I have seen these around but always assumed they were really expensive, really pleased to see they are so cheap. Definitely going to look into some as Leo needs his own travel bag and always looking for toy storage. Fab review 🙂 xx #KCACOLS

Those look great! We could have done with them when the Tubblet was the same age as her toys got everywhere. We tried to keep the living room toy free once she’d gone to bed and something like that would have made it so much easier
