I’m always taking care of my hair. I like using products that make it look and feel healthier and stronger. I’m always up for trying new products as my hair has been always the hardest to maintain. I happily agreed when I was asked by TRX2 and Mumsnet to try TRX2 Molecular Food Supplement for Hair and TRX2 Hair Revitalizing Lotion for 12 weeks.
My hair has changed a lot over the years. It has changed in colour, texture and thickness. When I was very young my hair was light blond, straight and thin. During my teenage years, it changed to light brown, very curly and thick. How can your hair change that much? I actually wondered this all my teenage years, LOL! I initially embraced the curls but then when I was at Uni, I couldn’t handle my crazy curls anymore and decided to have a treatment which transformed my hair from being very curly to straight. It lasted for a few years but then it became slightly wavy.
Since I moved to the UK my hair has changed again. It is still wavy but it is much thinner than it used to be. Of course, the change of weather has affected it but the main factor has been my two pregnancies. During my pregnancies, I grew so much hair it was insane. I actually loved it because without taking anything, my hair looked better than ever. I had very long hair in both pregnancies because it grew so much very quickly.
The problem started after giving birth. OMG, I have never experienced such an amount of hair loss in my whole life. I have had some high and low moments during my life but what I experienced after both of my pregnancies was scary! I was not expecting that! Obviously, the second time around I was more aware of this so it wasn’t a shock. But when it happened to me the first time I was so worried that I turned to Google to research the issue and it turns out that it was a very common side effect after giving birth. The problem is that it lasted for so many months that I was concerned I was going bald! I have never lost so much hair. This severe hair loss lasted for about 6 months I think. Then it started to improve. I tried to bring it back to its normal healthy look using some oils and some special shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair.
TRX2
TRX2 is created with the expertise of Oxford Biolabs scientists. It is a safe, natural hair loss supplement providing clinically-proven support for anyone suffering from the confidence-sapping effects of hair thinning. Hair loss can be caused by a number of factors, including genetics, hormones and diet. TRX2 is a hair thinning treatment specifically designed for men and women suffering from the early stages of hair loss. TRX2 consists of natural substances that our body normally produces at sufficient levels in healthy hair but at insufficient quantities in those who experience hair thinning.
My hair at the moment is in good condition. I’m not experiencing any more exaggerated hair loss but I still sometimes lose a little hair during my showers. I’m not getting any younger. Very soon I will be turning 40 so losing hair and having it thinner is normal at this stage. But, I really want to keep my hair very healthy and strong for longer, so I hoped the products from TRX2 would help me to achieve that.
When the parcel arrived, it contained the following:
- x3 Months’ supply of TRX2® Molecular Food Supplement for Hair (boosts the absorption of essential nutrients within the hair follicle to support the production of strong, healthy hair)
- x3 Months’ supply of TRX2® Hair Revitalizing Lotion (Active components penetrate into the skin, nourishing and helping to revitalize hair follicles. Simply apply 1ml with dropper twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) to the scalp in areas of thinning hair)
So this will be a 3 month supply of both products. I have to take 3 tablets 3 times a day or 3 in one go and also apply the lotion twice a day. It is not complicated so I’m okay with this. I have already started but of course, it is too soon to say if it is working or not.
I will try these for 12 weeks. At the end of this trial, I will write another blog post about my experience. I will explain more in detail about this process. I will be very honest about it as I’m sure you would like to know my thoughts and if I recommend it. So this is it for now. Wish me luck!
Do you suffer from hair thinning or hair loss? Have you tried something to help you? Have you heard of TRX2 before? Will this be something that you would like to try too?
