We were invited to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground at Willows Activity Farm. I can’t believe it has been one year since it was launched. We were invited to the launch of the playground a year ago although it wasn’t quite finished when we visited! It was amazing to finally see it as it should be!
We were very excited to be invited again to celebrate this important day. Willows Activity Farm is amazing. They always have so much going on so you can be sure that your kids will be entertained all day long.
We made a video of our day out at Willows Activity Farm. See below:
As soon as we arrived we were greeted and taken to the Peter Rabbit Theatre. They had organised a live performance for us. We saw a show last year but this time it was even more special as it wasn’t just Peter Rabbit but Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail were there too! This was a nice surprise. The theatre was full of families! All the kids were so happy and excited to sing and dance along with their favourite characters.
At one point all the children were encouraged to go to the front to join in with the actions for a song. Sienna went to the front as she is very outgoing although Bella was a little shy so although she went, she came back straight away, so Sienna then did the same. It was a shame but they sang and danced from where we were sitting anyway! The atmosphere was amazing. You could tell everybody was having a great time.
When the show finished they let everybody out except for the invited bloggers like us who were attending with their families. This was for a meet and greet photo opportunity with Peter, Benjamin and Lily. Initially, only Sienna was keen to do this but when Bella saw her sister ready to meet Peter and his friends she changed her mind. I went with both of them and we had a nice photo! They got lots of cuddles from them too!
After the meet and greet, Willows had prepared a really special surprise for us. We were taken to their birthday celebration room for a big party! I wasn’t expecting this at all! I was so impressed. The had a lovely table laid out for the kids and there was also another table with snacks for the adults. It was perfect timing because after all the singing and dancing we were all starving, LOL!
As you could probably guess, the party had a Peter Rabbit theme and it was lovely! It looked really nice. The kids had jam sandwiches, chicken nuggets, pizza, sausages, veggies, lots of fruits, radishes, carrot biscuits, cupcakes and of course an amazing cake!
The adult table was delicious too. We had pizza, chicken goujons, lots of veggies with hummus among other things. Lots of drinks and teas and coffee to choose from.
We ate the whole table, LOL! I’m only kidding but we were so hungry that we really enjoyed our time there! The kids also got a party bag with a balloon. Both my girls were desperate to get one each! They absolutely loved opening their party bags! It was full of Peter Rabbit themed items! It was great!
When the party finished we went to the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground to have some fun there. As I said, it was lovely to see it finished. My girls were crazy around this place. They explored every single corner. It was a lot of fun for all of us.
I even got a moment to relax in one of the big swings. I was very happy to see my girls so excited and having a great time!
You can read more about the Peter Rabbit Adventure playground which is a post I wrote last year about our experience there. That post explains how it was created and what the idea behind it all was.
After spending a good time at the playground we were free to go around the farm and explore. This was something that Bella was really looking forward to as she loves animals and she was desperate to pet some of them. So we went to the main area where they were allowed to pet some guinea pigs. Bella was so happy. She pretty much petted all of them! It was one of her favourite moments.
We then went to play at the bouncy castle and some rides at the back of the farm. There is so much to do in this place. My girls couldn’t stop exploring and playing. There were different activities for them to do everywhere. They loved playing in the sand area too.
They also had an area where they were able to ride some small tractors. Sienna loved that. She wanted to do this for hours. Even though the weather was fantastic that day, it was getting cooler so we decided to get inside and have fun in the soft play area!
OMG, this area is AMAZING! It wasn’t just my girls who enjoyed it but Nick and I also did! I went with the girls to go up and down the slides about 5 times! That is not very common for me. I really had a fab time there. The girls tried everything that was possible to do there. They both throw themselves from giant slides! They were super high! I really don’t know how they didn’t have any fear! They are nutters, LOL!
And finally, before we left we spend some time at the activity area for toddlers. It was more focused on little ones so it was great for Sienna but Bella loved it there too. There was so much to do here. There is a lot of role play encouragement here. It was really nice to see them so entertained there.
On our way back to the car we stopped at the gift shop that is fantastic by the way and of course, I had to buy a few things! It was a full on day for all of us and we ended up shattered by the end of the day!
We love Willow Activity Farm and the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground! It is a lof of fun. I can highly recommend you to visit this place! You won’t regret it! Your kids will love it!

As soon as I saw another bloggers post on this wonderful farm I was excited about it. Now that I’ve seen your post too I think this would make for a fantastic occasion. My daughters face lit up on seeing the photo of Peter and his friends and she came and sat on my knee to watch your video. #KCACOLS

Looks like you had a wonderful day out and this farm looks great. I’ve never heard of it before and unfortunately my 3 are a little old for it now (well maybe not the youngest but his big sisters) but I wish I’d taken them. Always love a trip to the gift shop too! #KCACOLS

This looks brilliant! I love the rabbit themed food, how amazing! Sadly i don’t think this is near us, and Arthur has a fear of people dressed up as animals etc at the moment but when he’s a bit older im sure he would really enjoy this #kcacols
