I have some lovely news for you! The purr-fect family treat is coming to Croydon this December! Following their acclaimed stage productions of Stick Man and Zog, Freckle Productions are back with Tabby McTat, a new stage adaptation based on the book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler. Tabby McTat is a heart-warming story of friendship and loyalty, brought to life on stage with original songs and Freckle’s distinctive style. It will play from Monday 2 – Saturday 14 December 2019. How fun is that? And to make it even more exciting, I am hosting a GIVEAWAY so one of my readers can Win Tabby McTat Family Tickets To The Opening Performance! thanks to Freckle Productions. Find out all the details at the bottom of this post.
The show will be played at Fairfield Halls, South London’s largest arts centre which has just reopened following a multi-million-pound redevelopment. The show is suitable for children and families of all ages.
About Tabby McTat
Tabby McTat is a cat with the loudest of meee-ews and a best friend with a guitar. Together they sing their favourite songs delighting the crowds, until one day Fred disappears. Separated and alone, Tabby finds shelter and a new life with all the home comforts that any cat could dream of. However, memories of his life with Fred haunt him, and he sets off to search the streets for his long-lost friend.
From the team behind Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales and Zog, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Tabby McTat is a heart-warming tale of friendship and loyalty interwoven with original songs and a sprinkling of magic.
