Baby Born Surprise Dolls Series 4 Review

amomentwithfranca · 25 September 2020 · 40 Comments

We love Baby Born Surprise Dolls.  We have reviewed them since they first came out and the girls really like them because they are so much fun to open and discover what little baby is inside. We received a new bundle of Baby Born Surprise Dolls series 4. This time, Sienna helped me with this review. She was super excited to discover their new characters.

Baby Born Surprise Dolls Series 4 Review

Ad-Gifted: We received a bundle of Baby Born Surprise for the purpose of this review

These new Baby Born Surprise dolls series have a magical/garden theme and now the stork brings baby plants, how cool is that? They come in a flower packaging that is very cute and colourful.

You only need to unwrap the flower packaging to discover the new baby which comes with 10 exciting surprises inside. The baby comes inside a sparkly pink pouch which you can open when you untie the bow. The baby’s features can be discovered one by one. They are hidden inside a bud that will reveal many surprises.

The first surprise is their swaddle. The new Baby Born Surprise dolls series 4 comes with 12 different swaddles. You can collect White Flower, Blush Blooms, Lilac, Rose, Royal Swan, Candy Stripes, Dreamy Genie,  Candy Sparkles, Cuddly Kitty, Horsie Wings, Fairy Pony and Pearly Pup.

Little ones can unwrap the baby swaddle to reveal their skin colour, hair colour and hairstyle. They can also wake up their babies to discover their eye colour by gently wiping their eyelids with a damp cloth.

Inside their swaddle, you can find a blind bag that contains the baby’s bottle.  You will find out if the baby is a boy or a girl if the baby bottle is pink or blue.

If you feed the baby with some water, you will find another exciting surprise which is discovering the colour and pattern of their diaper. This will help you to reveal the baby’s birthday and horoscope, and finally naming the new baby.

Lastly, you can fill the baby certificate and discover some fun baby games as well as more details about this magical new baby.

Opening Our Bundle

Discovering Horsie Wings

We received 2 babies, so Sienna was very intrigued to reveal their characters. The first swaddle we got was Horsie Wings. It was adorable.

Sienna took this baby out of the swaddle and it has a cute unicorn headband. Another interesting addition to this series is that the babies come with wings at the back. They are sweet.

Inside the swaddle, Sienna found the blind bag and when she opened it she discovered a pink bottle. This revealed the gender of the baby, so now we know this baby is a girl. Then Sienna wet the nappy and then appeared a star & rainbow pattern.

In series 4 there are thirteen patterns available: Flowers, Stars & Rainbows, Shooting Stars, Pet Paws, Tulip Garden, Pink Butterflies, Bows, Red Candies, Pink Roses, Spring Bluebells, Tiaras & Gems, Sugar Sweets and Orange Daisies.

The baby has her eyes closed so Sienna used a damped cotton pad to open the eyes. The colour of her eyes are hazelnut and her hair was ginger.

Checking the collector sheet we were then able to find out the birth month of the baby and the star sign.

Discovering Candy Sparkles

The second swaddle we got was Candy Sparkles. It looks like a candy wrap. So cute!

When Sienna took the baby out of the swaddle we were able to see the hairstyle.  It has an orange hat with a green pom pom. It looks like a carrot. It has tan skin. This baby also has wings at the back.

Inside the swaddle, she found the blind bag. She opened it and inside there was a blue bottle. This means that this baby was a boy.

Sienna used a damped cotton pad to open the eyes of this baby too. The colour of his eyes are brown and his hair was ginger too.

Finally, Sienna wet the nappy and then appeared a Red Candies pattern.

Our Thoughts

We love that the dolls are fully poseable. They can sit, move legs and arms. The collector’s guide is great because it comes with games as well as a birth certificate.

You can buy Baby Born Surprise Series 4 at Argos, Smith Toys and Amazon. Sienna really enjoyed unboxing these dolls. It is a very exciting experience. We think these dolls can be a great present for a birthday or for Christmas.

What do you think of the Baby Born Surprise Series 4? Which baby is your favourite?
