Having Fun At Bath Time With Cocobubble

amomentwithfranca · 9 October 2017 · 5 Comments

Who doesn’t love bath bombs! I love them, aren’t they great? So, imagine having some special bath bombs just for your kids? Wouldn’t that be so much fun? Well, this is what Cocobubble, a new startup UK company is offering amongst other amazing bath products such as soap paints (stain free and super gentle), waterproof stories (with themed bath products to splash along), bath activities and eco-friendly bath toys! How fantastic is that?

Their products are designed to make bath time an adventure for children, with stimulating and creative products that are free from nasties. They specifically set out to create products that would not include any harsh ingredients, therefore their products are designed for delicate skin and include many natural ingredients to nourish it.

THE PRODUCTS WE RECEIVED

We were sent different products to review which was great! Since the moment I told my eldest daughter about these products, she was very excited to try them at bath time. Both girls love playing in the bath and like to stay there for a long time so any new bath products which make that moment even more fun will be fantastic for them!

When the products arrived, they were packed really nicely inside a clear bag with the logo of the brand and a ribbon. It was very cute. You can see the ingredients and how to use the products on each label.

Bath Bombs

The first products we tried were the bath bombs. For some reason, these were the ones my eldest was more enthusiastic about. I think she finds it fascinating how they work. We received two different bath bombs: Spring Life Bath Bomb and Berry Bot Bath Bomb.

They both melted into the water and left a beautiful smell. The fun factor here was a hidden mini soap in a cute shape.

 Spring life bath bomb

As soon as Bella put it inside the water it started to melt straight away. It was really cool to watch. As the strawberry ball fizzes in the bath, we started to see that the water was turning pink!

It was great to know that this little ball of fun is designed for delicate skin which was great for Bella. It is good for her skin and at the same time, it is a lot of fun.

The more the bath bomb is in the water, the quicker it melts and at the end of this process a mini butterfly soap appears! Both my girls loved this feature. They loved playing with the butterfly mini soap! It is very cute!

This product is free from parabens, mineral oils, SLS & SLES. It is intended for use by children over 3 years. It is a lot of fun and makes the perfect bath time treat.

Berry bot bath bomb

We then tried the Berry Bot Bath Bomb. This was Sienna’s turn. She put the bath bomb inside the water and it started melting too. This one turned the water blue.

Sienna did the same as Bella and after melting it into the water, she could see a mini robot shaped mini soap appearing! This mini robot was super cute too!

Like the previous bath bomb, this product is free from parabens, mineral oils, SLS & SLES, so it is perfect for our little one’s skin.

BATH SETS

We got a couple of cute sets to review too. They sent us the Dinosaur adventure set and the Pigs in Mud set. They were both nicely presented. Bella opened the Dinosaur Adventure set and Sienna opened the Pigs in Mud set. Both sets are perfect for Imaginative play. They really spent a fair amount of time playing with them!

Dinosaur adventure – £14.50

This set is perfect for dinosaur lovers! It comes with a ‘Sand’ soap paint, egg bath bomb, mini dinosaur soaps, dinosaur finger puppet and a natural coconut bowl. I thought the coconut was an interesting addition to the set. It brings a lot of playful moments.

The idea was to layer the sand soap paint into the coconut shell to make a floating nest. To be honest, I missed this part of the instructions (silly me) and my girls didn’t do this but they had so much fun playing with each product included regardless.

Like the previous bath bombs, your little ones will need to drop the speckled egg bath bomb into the tub and watch it fizz! After it starts melting, guess what appears? You will see another baby dinosaur!

The girls loved playing with the natural coconut bowls, Bella specifically! She really thinks this is a clever idea! She loves seeing it float on the water! She enjoying putting all the mini dinosaur shaped soaps in there. She filled them with water and used it as a jar too!

The dinosaur finger puppet is lovely! It is another great idea! They were playing with it a lot! Bella loved making up stories for her sister! It was fun to watch!

As I mentioned before, I missed using the paint soap as a sand soap earlier, so we used this paint soap to rub all over their skin. This lovely activity is both fun and functional.

Pigs in mud – £8.00

This little pig in mud set was perfect for Sienna. She really loved the mini pig soaps. This set includes lavender ‘mud’ soap paint, mini pig soaps and natural coconut bowl. I love the smell of lavender and you were able to smell it from afar.

The mini pig’s soaps were really tiny. Sienna had a fab time playing with them. They look so perfect! She also put them in the coconut bowl to play with them making them float!

It also comes with paint soap which is supposed to be used as the mini pig soap’s ‘mud’. It is super gentle and wipes clean from your skin and bathtub with ease. Sienna had lots of fun rubbing the paint soap all over her body! It is really soft and thick.

Personalised wash mitts

This was a super nice touch to add to their range. I don’t think they are on sale just yet but they will be soon. I love that they are personalised. Bella and Sienna really like them!

OUR THOUGHTS

The girls really like these products! They have been playing a lot with them over the last couple of week. Bella has played more than Sienna. I’m not sure if it is because of her age but I found Bella, who is older got more imaginative play from them. I like that the girls can have much more fun at bath time with natural products. The bath bombs are fantastic and they smell gorgeous.

They could be a great gift for other kids or even as a cool Christmas present! The personalised wash mittens are a really nice touch!

What do you think of these bath products? Do your kids also find bath bombs cool? Will this be something different to get them?
