My July Favourites

I can’t believe it is already August! This month has gone pretty quick!! It is amazing really! Anyway, so now it is time to do my favourites for July. If you haven’t read my June Favourites check the link here

I have chosen for this month four beauty products as well as a useful smartphone/ tablet app for helping young children to sleep. I will always try to incorporate a favourite that is related to my girls given that this is a parenting and lifestyle blog. I could even sometimes incorporate a favourite product chosen by my husband. That could be interesting, right? 😉

1. RIMMEL KATE MOSS LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK, 01

This lipstick is so beautiful. The colour is a bright red colour that is so intense it will distinguish your lips from everybody else. It is such a gorgeous tone which I found very sexy to wear. I always feel different when I wear it as it kind of transforms me into a sexy lady 😉 LOL. It is not just the colour that I love but the main characteristic of it which is that it lasts for hours. This is something I find extremely good about this product. Of course there is a moment that you will have to apply it again but it will be just a couple of times compared to other lipsticks where you have to be reapplying them very often. The number for this specific colour is 01.

2. BECKHAM INTIMATELY HER EAU DE TOILETTE

This perfume smells incredible – I love it a lot! It was a present from my husband and when I saw it I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it but as soon as I tried it on I was in love with it! I feel like new every time that I wear it. I’m always saving it for a special occasion. This perfume has been designed and created by David and Victoria Beckham. It has a floral fragrance (top notes: lotus, bergamot and rose petals; middle notes: lily, tuberose and neroli; and Base notes: Vanilla and sandalwood). I think they did a really good job with this product. If you like this type of smell you should try it, you will love it! 😉

 3. BELLAPIERRE COSMETICS SHIMMER POWDER, DEJA VOUS 

This is another product that I have been loving a lot this month. I got this shimmer powder from a monthly subscription beauty box called Glossybox that I have been subscribed to since last year. I received it a long time I go and it was within my pile of make up. At the beginning of the month I went through all my make up which is when I rediscovered it. I tried applying it, loved it, and since then I have been using it all the time. The colour is so pretty. It has some sparkles making your eyes looking very pretty.

4. BODY SHOP MORINGA BODY BUTTER

Oh my God guys this body butter smells amazing! I have been using this product a lot lately. You can apply to your body if you want to but I have been using it for my feet. It is so soft to touch like silk! I found this product through my mum because she discovered it when she needed something for her feet, and tried using this body cream to massage them. When she finished it she asked me to get more for her, so when I went to the Body Shop I thought that I should try it myself. I did and now it is all pretty much gone. I need to buy a new one ASAP lol. I also used it like my mum to massage my feet. I really recommend you guys to try this product, this Moringa series is excellent.

5. RAIN, RAIN APPLICATION

This application is so useful. I have been using it non stop since Sienna was born. I’m a total believer of using a white noise to help your baby to sleep. It is well known that it is good to use white noise to help your babies to go and to stay happily asleep. It reminds them of the noises that they had whilst in the womb. They feel so familiar with it that they are more calm and relaxed. It is a backgroud of a familiar noise that takes them away from every noise that is around them. My house is small and my eldest daughter is very noisy so this application has been a life saver for us because we have been able to protect Sienna from the crazy noise that is around the house. I have slept with that noise and I have to admit that it really sends you to heaven, I really sleep like a baby!! LOL. This application has so many different noises for you to choose from but the one that I like the most is the vacuum cleaner sound. It seems to work very well with Sienna and the great thing of having an app is that you can pretty much take it anywhere with you. I put it in the car, in the pushchair, have it on hand when she is having a nap at someone else’s house, etc. In all of these examples it has been so useful. I really recommend you to try to use a white noise for your babies.
