Welcome back to #KCACOLS. We had 34 link ups last time! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky on the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
I have just realised that KCACOLS has been going for 4 years now! I started this linky in October 2015! I felt very emotional when I noticed how long I have been doing this! And of course, this linky wouldn’t survive that long if it wouldn’t be for you my lovely linkers, who are so loyal and patient with me. A lot of you have been with me since the start and I really appreciate it! Thank you so much!
We had 2 lovely weeks. Halloween was in-between so we were all excited about it. We carved our pumpkins and went trick or treating nearby where we live. We were so impressed with the amazing decorations that some houses had. I felt that I was in the US for a minute! It was very fun.
I went to the Saatchi Gallery for the Tutankhamun exhibition. It was amazing! You must visit if you are in London. They have 150 objects that were discovered inside the tomb. The objects are gorgeous. They also have a Virtual Reality experience where you can enter the tomb. Last Saturday Bella and I went to the O2 Arena for a Little Mix concert. It was the first time that Bella has attended a proper concert and she loved it. It was a great experience for both of us.
We have done a few interesting things. We went to a candy workshop where we learnt how to make candy. We ended up with candy for a year, LOL! I went to a lovely event at the Langham Hotel for an intimate dessert-making class organised by Giovanna Fletcher as she was launching her new gifting collection. It was lovely. After this, I went to an AO event in where Great British Bake Off finalist Kim Joy did a baking session. It was very impressive.
Each linkup, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:

My mum has a small replica of the Tutankhamun’s head at home and she was always very interested in the history of it. I guess because of her, I was very intrigued about it too. Tutankhamun’s tomb was unearthed by British explorer Howards Carter and financier Lord Carnarvon in 1922. It really captivated people’s attention. It was a massive discovery for sure. This exhibition is so impressive. Discovering the most famous of the Pharaohs, as well as their belongings as you go through a passage of his life, is just amazing. I went with a friend and we both were mesmerised but all these 150 objects. They are gorgeous. It is on until 3rd May 2020 so please come and see it if you are in London. It has 6 galleries and there is also a virtual reality experience where you can enter the tomb. The VR experience is suitable for ages 10 years old and over. I recommend you to book tickets in advance as they are selling fast already. 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙮𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨? AD | ✨𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘽𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙀𝙇 𝘿𝙄𝘼 𝘿𝙀 𝙇𝙊𝙎 𝙈𝙐𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙊𝙎✨ 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 "𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙙" (𝘿𝙞𝙖 𝙙𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨 𝙈𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤𝙨) 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚? It is a celebration of life and death. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colorful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons). 💀 The meaning of this festivity is not sombre but celebratory. The Day of the Dead festivities unfolds over 3 days (October 31 to November 2) in an explosion of colour and life-affirming joy. It has been recognized by UNESCO. The aim is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. ❤️ Having a Latin American background (Peruvian 🇵🇪) means that I am familiar with this festivity, so I was very excited to celebrate it this year with Nick and the girls. We couldn't wait to get involved. Dressing up as skeletons is part of the fun, so we got into characters. We had our faces painted by Bella who I was very impressed with. I wore a mask and a headband with a vale. I got a hat for Nick and colourful flower headbands for the girls. We all dressed up in black and decorated our table with a Day of the Dead party kit! 😃 And of course, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙖 𝘿𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨 𝙈𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 @𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙠 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙆𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩! This kit comes with a Dia De Los Muertos fun packaging which is perfect for this festivity. It is very easy to prepare and doesn't take too long. It was very yummy! We really enjoyed it! 😋 I would love it if you also join the fun celebrating this Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead this year. This fiesta is full of colour, delicious food and parades. What more you can ask for right! 🎉 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮? 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙈𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙘𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜? #MakeSomeNoise #DayOfTheDead

We had 34 linkups! Fewer linkups that we normally do but this linkup was in the middle of half term for a few so I suspect this could be a factor. On Thursday we had 8 posts that needed more comments. Today we reduced this number to 5. I am happy to see that we reduced this number. So 29 posts had more than 4 comments which is still good.Thank you!
Regarding the people that have not commented on the post before theirs, we got 3 people on Thursday. Today, we managed to reduce this number to 1 people. I am glad we manage to reduce both numbers. Thanks, guys for commenting.
Also, remember to comment on the co-hosts posts. Please also be aware that I’m BLOCKING URLs/Emails of people that have joined the linky and have not commented on any posts for consecutive weeks. If you find I have blocked you by mistake, please contact me.
The linky will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

For this week’s linky I am linking up Bandai Bananas Collectibles: Introducing Series 3 and Win Tabby McTat tickets at Fairfield Hall in Croydon so I hope you like them! 😉
Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT on the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned in my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, JO @ARoseTintdWorld and ELLA @typical_mummy and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting on your posts!! 🙂
