#KCACOLS – 15th May 2016

amomentwithfranca · 14 May 2016 · 11 Comments

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a fantastic week! We’ve had some lovely sunny days! I thought it would be cold today but thankfully it has been nice and sunny! 🙂 We did AMAZING last week with 112 link ups! HURRAH!!! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky in the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

kcacols700x400

My week started really well. On Tuesday we were invited to the launch of No 4 Privet Drive at Warner Brothers Studio Tour London (Harry Potter Studios) near Watford. It was our first time there and we absolutely love it! You can see from the photo below which I shared on my Instagram, just how amazing the floating mail looked in the living room of the Dursley’s home. It was very impressive. Aside from that I’m feeling very tired and exhausted this week. I think I need to start to slow down and be conscious of how much I’m taking on, otherwise I will collapse :-(. Anyway, yesterday was Bella’s 6th birthday. She has been waiting for it to arrive for the past month I think, LOL! HAPPY BIRTHDAY my cheeky little monkey! We actually celebrated it today, taking 6 of her girl friends from school to watch the new “Angry Birds” movie.  When the film was over, we took them for a crepe – it was such a grown up plan! She had so much fun. I don’t know how, but we managed and they all behaved very well.

Fantastic recreation of the floating mail in the living room of The Dursley’s home at No. 4 #privetdrive @wbtourlondon #harrypotter Love it!! 👏🏻

Now to the linky. The commenting got better at the end of the week! I was worried at the beginning but it was all really good by Friday. I’m so grateful for that guys. I really appreciate you taking the time to come back to the linky to comment and especially to go and spread more love to the posts that needed more comments. The commenting was not our best comparing to last week but it was still REALLY GOOD!  I just love when I see lots of comments from this linky!  Not considering the hosts and co-hosts posts, I have more than 20 people making more than 11 comments. Then we have about 6 people commenting on more than 20 posts. These numbers are FANTASTIC! Thank you so much.

NOTE: I’m behind this week for the first time with my own commenting. I’m really sorry but this week has been hectic and having Bella’s birthday made it more difficult for me. I promise I will catch up as soon as I can! I hope you understand.

  • One post had 18 comments just from this linky, so that really was fantastic!
  • There were 3 other posts that had  17, 16 and 15 comments!
  • There were only 10 post with 4 comments.
  • The rest of the posts had between 5 and 18 comments!
  • Also for this week, the last couple of posts that linked up (link 111 and link 112) had 5 comments and 4 comments (the last post still has pending comments to approve as I asked her, and so they are not showing yet) respectively (you will always receive comments no matter at what stage of the linky you link up).

We had 8 people that didn’t comment on the post linked up before their post. This number went up again. 🙁 so let’s try to improve it for this new week. Thank you so much for making an effort. Let’s try to get this number down to zero! I know we can make this happen!!

Thank you guys for continuing to reading the Thank You email on Thursdays. It is nice to see that you come back and actually get the time to check which posts need some love. Thank you very much!!!

NOTE: If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous between each other and spreading lots of love. I can see this is also happening more lately and I’m very happy to see that.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS: PLEASE start with commenting on the post linked up before yours first and then go around commenting as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. I read and liked all your comments! I can’t go and comment on all of your posts because of the lack of time. However you will always receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

She will also be retweeting your tweets so please add her twitter handle (@NewMummyBlog) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally she has a guest co-host post, TEA MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!!

She has been linking with us for a few weeks and since then she has been great with her commenting. I love when we have new people joining us for a few weeks and then they are the ones that do the best commenting. She has been super generous this week, commenting on 40 posts which is BRILLIANT! Thank you so much MADELINE! Her post from last week was BEING A PARENT REALLY IS WONDERFUL … I PROMISE!, . Please go to her post and give her more love if you can!

FeaturedPost_Candyfloss_and_Dreams

The third person who has commented a lot this week was KAYLEIGH from Candyfloss and Dreams. I have featured Kayleigh before as she is always commenting a lot! I’m so excited as she has been really good spreading lots of love. She commented on 26 posts!!! FANTASTIC! Thank you so much KAYLEIGH! You are A STAR! One of her posts from last week was WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY?. If you haven’t read it already, go and check it out now!

Behind Bridget, Madeline, and Kayleigh was SAVANNAH from How He’s Raised with 24 comments, Allyson from Bring Mommy Coffee with 22 comments and SARAH from Mumzilla with 20 comments. Thank you so much lovely ladies!!! 🙂

For this week’s linky I am linking up 2 reviews: “Frosty Fun with My Girls“ and “Bookawoo Kid’s Subscription Service“, so I hope you like them! 😉

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!

[do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Each week I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a back link on my new linky post each Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts per week.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on one of the hosts posts (choose one that you would like to comment on as I will be linking up 2 posts every week if possible). Then comment the guest co-hosts. Then comment on the post which is linked up immediately before yours and finally any other post that you would like to comment on. That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until Wednesday at 11.59 pm.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, Lynne @newmummyblog and Rachel @lifewithMrsB and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest , Bloglovin, Google+ and You Tube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting your posts!! 🙂

I’ve been trying to comment on the post before mine (54), but I can’t get into it – I think there is a server problem. Will keep trying.

✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
