#KCACOLS – 16th October 2016

amomentwithfranca · 15 October 2016 · 12 Comments

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a fantastic week! We did GREAT with 131 link ups! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky in the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

KCACOLS One Year Anniversary

I realised this week that KCACOLS has now been running for a year, in fact, last week was the actual anniversary. I can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by. Although demanding, it’s been a great experience hosting this linky and a great way for me to be able to get to know and connect with more bloggers. I also appreciate how much effort YOU all put in to make this the community and linky that it has become. Thank you all so much!

I would like to say a huge Congratulation to Frances from Whinge Whinge Wine and Laura from Five Little Doves for making it to the Final of the Mumsnet Blogging Awards! This is fantastic news. I didn’t make it this time but it is all good! I will be there clapping for them at BlogFest in November! 😉

I had a good week. I attended a couple of events that were interesting. On Tuesday, I went to KidZania for a special event for the launch of a new movie called Storks and on Thursday I went to the most amazing and posh tea party event at Haymarket Hotel in London organised by Mothers Meeting for the launch of Marie Chantal’s new children’s collection for Mark & Spencer. It was all so beautiful. You can see a couple of photos below which I shared on Instagram:

INSTAGRAM COMMUNITY

Thank you so much for all the people that joined us last week for our #UnPocoDeTodoUK link up. We had a great week with lots of you joining! Thank you. I will host the linky on Monday 17th October at 9pm until midnight on Friday 21st. The theme for next week is “OUTDOORS/NATURE/OBJECTS” so I hope lots of you can join us!

Thank you so much too for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. We have 1,929 photos there now which is fantastic! I really enjoy going through your photos! I would love it if more of you could also use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! 🙂

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY:

LINKY TWEETS – I will try something different next week. I will stop sending tweets with the linky post from next week as I hope the email and the facebook group should be enough to spread the word. I normally only tweet active linkers but the list is getting bigger by the day and it is taking a lot of time to prepare/schedule the tweets. I hope this helps to be more productive with my time. Let’s see how it goes. I will always leave a pinned tweet on my Twitter so people can find the link to the linky post. Fingers crossed it goes well! 🙂

This last link up has been GOOD but it could be better. I have gone through each post this week and checked if people have commented on the post before theirs and there were about 9 people that may not have done it. This could be because their comments have not been approved or because they have just missed commenting those. I would really appreciate if you try to comment on the post before yours first. I’m starting to leave comments about it so you can go back and comment if you miss it.

I also realised that this week there were some people that only commented on 2 posts. I would say that I’m expecting a minimum of 5 comments per person (1 host, 3 co-hosts and the post before yours) and if you link up 2 posts I would expect 6 comments as a minimum per person (1 host, 3 co-hosts and the posts before yours and 1 more post)

This week, unfortunately, I don’t know again if we have reached 4 comments per post. I know for sure some posts have 4 comments but they are not showing because they have not been approved. It is very frustrating for me. I can’t do the counting properly if you don’t approve your comments, so please again approve your comments and check your spam folders. Remember that from now on people will have until Friday night to comment unless I say otherwise.

Please do not forget to comment on the post before yours. If you have any problems commenting on the post before yours please just send me a message and I will do my best to help. AGAIN, please do not link up and run. Finally, do not forget to add the linky badge.

THANK YOU again to all of you that have already joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. We have 130 members now and it is always fantastic to chat with all of you. You can join us here. Also if you do join, please send me a direct message with the name of your blog so then I know who you are without having to figure out your blog name 🙂

NOTE: If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous with each other and spreading lots of love.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS: PLEASE start with commenting on the post linked up before yours first and then go around commenting as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We would do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

The third person who commented a lot this week was MADELINE from This Glorious Life. So she has done it again! She is just fantastic! She was GREAT commenting on 40 posts! [do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Each week I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post each Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts per week.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment on as I will be linking up 2 posts every week if possible). Then comment the guest co-hosts and the monthly co-host. Then comment on the post which is linked up immediately before yours and finally any other post that you would like to comment on. That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until Wednesday at 11.59 pm.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, Tracey @frazzledmumblog, Kimberly @oddhogg and Laura @TheUnsungMum and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest , Bloglovin, Google+ and YouTube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting your posts!! 🙂

✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our ✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our first week in Torrevieja was a mix of unexpected moments and relaxation. Sienna’s 9th birthday took an unexpected turn when she cut her thumb, and we spent some time in the ER getting a single stitch. 😢 But she’s a trooper and handled it like a champ..Despite this, we still managed at the start of that first week to soak up some sun, enjoy the pool, watch beautiful sunsets, and take in the incredible views. Evenings by the pool became our thing, creating lasting memories and a sense of calm. It wasn’t the week we had planned, but it turned out to be a week of quality family time and unwinding. ☀️🏖️.Swipe left to see our first week in pictures, and if you keep checking until the last photo, you can see Sienna’s stitch.
