My eldest daughter, Bella got a cool kit to review from Ravensburger. We love Ravensburger products. We have different puzzles and games at home from them and they are great. She received a CreArt Pawesome Polar Bear Painting By Numbers Kit. She likes arts and crafts, so this kit was a fun activity to do. The image was so cute! We love polar bears.

How does the Ravensburger CreArt Pawesome Polar Bear Painting By Numbers Kit work?
They have 2 different types of kits depending on the age of the kids. They have some for kids ages 9 and up and some for kids ages 7 and up. We got the ones for kids ages 9 and up.
To start, they recommend wearing old clothes and covering the table with a newspaper. You’ll also need a paper towel and a cup of water.
Then, you should put the paint pots into the holder to prevent spilling. There are 15 acrylic paints in numbered pots, this means that she used 15 different colours to paint the image. To open the pot, it should be done carefully and firmly holding the lower tab of the lid to avoid any messes.
The high-quality thick painting canvas is where she should be painting the numbers. It is a lovely size 24 x 18 cm, so big enough for a nice display. You can see the borders of the image there.
The numbers shown on the painting canvas tell you which colour to use for each area. She just needed to select an area to start with and find its paint pot.
If there is enough paint, you’ll see the numbers disappear. If a number still shows through once the paint has dried, you should simply paint over it again. There is an easy to follow guide sheet in the kit that shows all the numbers. Keep this handy as you will need later to know where the numbers were.
You should always close the paint pots after use to prevent them from drying out. After all the numbered areas were painted, you should simply let the picture dry overnight.
To make your image shine, you should use the brush to apply a thin layer of varnish across the entire picture. It looks really nice after applying this.
You could also make the picture sparkle by mixing the remaining varnish with the glitter. The dotted areas on the control sheet show you where to apply the glitter varnish.
Once the picture is dry, you can frame it and your room will sparkle!
