amomentwithfranca · 3 June 2017 · 67 Comments

I have great news to tell you. The delicious children’s porridge brand Ready Brek has teamed up with Walker Books’ We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to launch a new on-pack promotion. Ready Brek are inviting kids and families to create their very own bear hunt featuring fun activity ideas to try at home on their packs.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt: Ready Brek Promotion & Giveaway

These two brands are perfect for each other because both are committed to keeping kids healthy and active. Ready Brek kindly asked us to be part of their campaign and are also offering the chance for one of my lovely readers to win a fab prize! You can find out more about this GIVEAWAY at the bottom of the post.

Each promotional pack features beautiful artwork from the film and contains a free and original Bear Hunt Guide on the back featuring games, activities and recipes to encourage children and adults to have a healthy, balanced lifestyle. The packs will also include three delicious recipes to collect; Bear Hunt Banana Muffins, Protein-packed Bear Hunt Bites and Bear Hunt Blueberry and Apple Flapjacks which are all nutritionally balanced, energy boosting snacks that will keep little adventurers going.

Ready Brek sent us a couple of boxes to try at home. But please note that the boxes we received didn’t have the on-pack promotion as they were not ready yet but the boxes with the on-pack promotion are available now in any supermarket.

My girls love porridge and Ready Brek is perfect for them. It is so easy to prepare and only takes seconds. You can prepare it in the microwave for 90 seconds or on the hob. We prepared it on the hob and the girls stood next to me in the kitchen so we could prepare the porridge together.

They like to have a well-served bowl of porridge which will then help them for the day. Ready Brek is one of the UK’s most popular breakfast choices when it comes to serving up instant oat goodness for kids. The on-pack promotion will be running until July and will feature on Ready Brek Original 450g (RRP £1.99) and 750g (RRP £2.99) and Ready Brek Chocolate 450g (RRP £1.99).

Ready Brek is made from finely milled wholegrain oats and flour, vitamins and minerals, with no added salt or sugar. Packed with Calcium for healthy bones and teeth, Vitamin D for a healthy immune system, Protein for healthy muscles and oats for healthy digestion, along with Iron, Vitamin B1, B6 and B12, Ready Brek delivers a super smooth and nutritious start to the day. How fantastic is that? This is just perfect for my girls to keep them healthy and strong during the day and well prepared for new adventures.

We were also sent the two, special We’re Going On a Bear Hunt activity books for the girls to keep a track of their adventures. You can read more information about the books below.

Now that it’s half term, ready brek has been perfect for keep them going through all their adventures. The weather has been lovely, so it has been a great excuse to get out and about on the scooters or to go for a walk. We have been to our local parks enjoying the sunshine and having lots of fun.

Ready Brek are giving the opportunity to win some prizes consisting of two Ready Brek boxes and the two We’re Going On a Bear Hunt activity books. The books are My adventures field guide and My Explorers Journal.

I absolutely love porridge, I eat it almost every day! I’ve definitely eaten Ready Brek before – your post brought back memories as when I was about 11 it was my breakfast every day, with grated chocolate that I would sprinkle on top!

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt is an absolute classic I’ve read many times, but I’ve not seen the film.

I love this partnership, somehow it goes together 🙂

I have to watch my iron levels and porridge is about 2% so it’s not too bad for breakfast. We used to have it every morning as kids.
