Regatta Outdoors – Something For The Whole Family

As you all might know, we are big fans of Regatta Outdoors clothes. We love wearing their clothes because they are very comfortable, they are of a high standard, they keep us very warm and dry. But best of all, we love them because we feel great when we are wearing their clothes! It is so handy to be able to buy clothes for the whole family in one place and what’s more, they have regular promotions and discounts so you can get the best quality clothes for a reasonable amount which is fantastic!

This time, Regatta sent us each a complete outfit from their Spring collection just before we travelled to the Isle of Wight so we were prepared for that trip looking out best! The weather in the Isle of Wight was a bit miserable for that weekend as it was very rainy and the temperature went down a lot so we were very glad that we had appropriate clothes to wear that kept us warm and dry!

JACKETS

In this country, you always need a waterproof jacket. You never know when it is going to rain. You can be in the middle of Summer and then suddenly the weather can turn miserable with lots of rain! So we are so glad we got waterproof jackets because they are super handy to have. We have used them none stop since getting them

1. Franca – Gracelynn Long Length Lightweight Waterproof Jacket Lifeguard Yellow – £62.95

I love yellow jackets! I already have a Regatta one but that is a short jacket. This time I received a long one which I absolutely love! If you asked me which item was my favourite from the clothes I was sent I would say without hesitation this yellow waterproof jacket! I am so happy with it and keep getting lots of compliments about it.

I like the shape a lot so I am actually thinking on getting it in navy too! I am so tempted that I think you will see me in it soon! 😉

2. Nick – Hamlen Hooded Waterproof Jacket Ivy Green – £47.95

I like how this jacket looks on Nick. The colour is lovely because it is not too dark or too bright. It is green but more like a khaki colour. Nick said that he really likes this jacket. He highlighted that he likes that it is waterproof and light which is perfect for this time of year. He loves that it looks more stylish than a typical raincoat.

3. Bella – Kinds Printed Lever Jacket Duchess Print – £7.95

We already knew about this jacket because Sienna got one like this last year and Bella was desperate to get one too. She really likes the vibrant colour and print. It is very light so we can pack it away easily when we are out and about. It is waterproof so it keeps her dry. She feels very comfortable wearing it and also loves how she looks in it! So it looks like it ticked all the boxes! 😉

4. Sienna – Kids Printed Lever Lightweight Waterproof Hooded Jacket Multi Floral – £23.95

This jacket has the same features as the one Bella got. It is the same type of waterproof jacket. The only difference is the colour. This one comes with so many colours which makes it very cool and fun. Sienna really likes it and she looks so cute and trendy in it!

HOODIE / FLEECE

1. Franca – Elayna Full Zip Marl Fleece Ash – £26.25

This fleece is so comfortable! I like it because it is very light so it does the job of keeping me warm but I don’t feel too hot either. I got a similar fleece last year in violet so I knew it was very good. This time I got it in an Ash colour. There are 5 different colours to choose from. I really like that it comes with a zip-through layer. It also has an oversized stand collar with a drawcord adjustor for a snug fit. I really like how this looks. It also comes with cosy handwarmer pockets and thumb loops.

2. Nick – Dinnsmore Cotton Drawback Hoodie Navy – £37.45

Nick also likes this zip-through hoodie a lot. He says that it is very comfortable and stylish too. He likes the design as well. It has a lightweight sweat jersey fabric (180gsm) that’s brushed on the inside for added warmth. It is perfect to use with shorts or jeans.

3. Bella – Kids Tetra Hooded Fleece Hot Pink Rock Grey – £26.25

This hoodie is fantastic and looks great on Bella. She likes it a lot and it keeps her warm when needed too. She feels the cold more so this hoodie is great for her. This hoodie is made from super soft polyester/cotton blend fleece fabric that’s brushed on the inside for added fuzziness and warmth. It also has a snug jersey-lined hood and cosy kangaroo pocket on the front.

4. Sienna – Kids Pira Full Zip Mini Stripe Fleece Cabaret Light Steel – £17.95

Sienna looks so cute in this Fleece. I like the colour on her. It is very light but thick enough to keep her warm without being too thick. It is very handy to have when the weather suddenly changes and feels a little bit cooler. It stretches, insulates and packs down small. She feels very comfortable with it because it has stretch panels and a raglan sleeve. She likes that the side pockets are zipped so she can put her little treasures there! 😉

TOPS / SHIRTS

1. Franca – Parris Coolweave Cotton T-shirt Hot Pink White – £17.95

This top is lovely. I like the colour and the stripes. I also love that it has 3/4 sleeves. I find that length great for my arms. The material is really soft and comfy and it looks great! This top is made from their striped COOLWEAVE Cotton jersey that is breathable and light-to-wear. It has a casual fit with a flattering boat neck. What I like the most is that it is 100% Coolweave cotton.

2. Nick – Damaro Coolweave Cotton Shirt Navy – £20.95

Nick likes this short-sleeved button-down shirt because it looks very smart and it is very comfortable too. It is crafted from naturally breathable Coolweave Cotton using a herringbone weave pattern for a lighter feel. With button-up cuffs, a curved hem and colour pop stitch details around the chest pocket.

3. Bella – Bosley Coolwave Cotton T-shirt Lime Fizz & Sienna – Kids Bosley Cool Weave Cotton T-Shirt Hot Pink  – £5.95

This a cool top. The colour and design are lovely. Bella really likes it and has worn it several times already. It is made from their naturally breathable Coolweave Cotton for warm weather comfort. It comes with a fun graphic print inspired by the great outdoors.

SHORTS / TROUSERS

1. Franca – Maleensa Coolwave Cotton Capris Trousers Navy – £23.95

I wasn’t sure about these trousers at first because I find it hard to get a great fit in trousers due to my shape. I like the shape, colour and material of these trousers. The only problem I have is that I feel that I will need to lose a little bit more weight because they feel a little tight perhaps also because they are not stretchable. I honestly prefer when the trouser follows your natural curves. Apart from that, they are lovely.

2. Nick – Shoreway II Cargo Shorts Navy – £29.95

Nick feels very comfortable when he wears these shorts. He likes the style and he thinks they look great. They are hardwearing canvas cargo shorts. They are made from naturally breathable Coolweave Cotton with a garment wash finish for a softer, broken-in feel. The fit sits slightly below your waist with a regular zip fly and is cut relaxed and straight through the leg. They are available in 5 different colours.

3. Bella & Sienna – Kids Damzel Cool Weave Cotton Shorts Navy – £14.95

These cute navy shorts are perfect for tree climbing, beach combing or trampolining in the garden because they are light and airy with Coolweave Cotton. The waist is part-elasticated which is really comfortable and comes with 2 pockets on the side and two on the back.

4. Bella & Sienna – Kids Hasanti Treggings Navy – £20.95

These treggings are fantastic! My girls really love them because they are so comfy that they can do anything while wearing them. And the best part is that they look like proper jeans. They are very cool. It has a cut ankle length from super soft and stretchy polyester blend fabric.

FOOTWEAR

1. Franca – Women’s Marine Sport Lightweight Shoes Dark Steel – £29.95

These trainers are so light that you don’t realise you have them on. It is amazing! They have a sporty look and they have a one-piece upper ripstop mesh construction that is incredibly breathable and comfortable to wear. The EVA sole unit with rubber pods offers superb traction and durability.

2. Nick – Men’s Turnpike Lite Lightweight Canvas Shoes Navy Delhi Red – £29.95

Nick is very happy with these shoes. He says that they are very comfy and stylish too. They are great for the outdoors such as scooting with the girls but also look smart too so they tick all the boxes. The air vent portholes keep things cool while the lightweight rubber outsole balances comfort and durability.

3. Bella – Kids Holcombe Low Walking Shoes Steel Tulip – £29.95

Bella is so happy with these trainers because she can explore everything with them. She didn’t have any shoes like this before so she is very excited. Their split mesh uppers with water-shedding technology Hydropel technology and a waterproof/breathable ISOTEX membrane keep her feet dry inside and out. Rubberised toe and heel bumpers and the EVA comfort footbed absorb knocks and bumps. The sturdy rubber outsole provides reliable grip on loose paths and muddy banks. The only downside is that she complains a lot about the shoelaces. They keep coming undone and has to tie them up several times.

4. Sienna – Kids Marine Sport Walking Shoes Rock Grey Hot Pink – £29.95

Sienna looks super cute in these shoes! They are super light with a one-piece upper mesh construction that is incredibly breathable and comfortable to wear. The EVA sole unit with rubber pods offers superb traction and durability.

GILET

5. Franca – Sweetness II Gilet Polat Bear – £14.95

I also got a gilet in cream which is really soft. I wouldn’t normally choose a light colour as they tend to make me look bigger but I decided to go for this colour because I already had a couple of Gilets in black. It feels so good when you wear it and it can certainly keep you warm if the weather suddenly changes. It has a cut hip length with a soft-touch stand collar and two lower pockets. One side is brushed and one side is anti pill.

OUR THOUGHTS

We are so happy with our Regatta Outdoors clothes. They are great and super useful when the weather is not the best. We love wearing it as a family and we definitely look cool in them! 😉
