I have mentioned in previous posts how much we love Schleich. Their animal figures are fantastic and keep my daughters entertained for hours. Our collection of animal figures is growing and now my girls have lots of different types of animals to play with. How fantastic would it be if we were able to get their complete collection of animal figures! That would be amazing, right?
We previously reviewed the Schleich farm world starter set and the animals we received were super cute! Then more recently, we reviewed their Show with Knabstrupper Mare. This is the latest addition to their Horse Club collection.
This time we are reviewing their new European Forest Dweller. This is part of their new Wild Life forest playsets. These animals are so well made. Each of them looks so real. It is just amazing!
This time I decided to open this box with my little Sienna. This box is for kids ages 3 years and above but she is almost 3 now so she was very keen to do the review with me without Bella. She is learning pretty fast, LOL!
This set comes with a wild boar, a red deer and a fox. These 3 animals live in the forests of Europe. The wild boars and red deers pick up delicious acorns from the ground and nibble on the succulent buds of young tree shoots. And the foxes especially love to eat mice and earthworms.
When Sienna opened the box, she recognised the fox and the deer straight away. I was so surprised that at her age she was so good at recognising them. Of course, she didn’t know what the third animal was. Not even I knew the name in English at first. So we checked their website to confirm that what we got was a wild boar. And we also found out a fun fact about the wild boar. Apparently, they clean their coats by rubbing themselves against trees.
I’m always impressed with the quality of Schleich’s toys. These animal figures are lovingly hand-painted with detailed modelling and allow children to learn as they play. Their quality is impressive. They are a great way for children to learn more about the wildlife. They have a lovely collection of wild life animals. They have a fantastic gorilla that we would like to get.
My girls are learning a lot about the animals we got which is great. They really enjoy playing and making all the animal noises. It is very fun to watch! They love to take their animal figures to the bath too so they can play even longer while they are having their bath. These animals are perfect because you can transport them everywhere.
Schleich is all about imaginative play and children’s imaginations are instantly inspired by these realistic animals. Your kids can play with these figurines on their own or combine them with their other favourite toys for even more fun.
