Scrubbingtons Full Scrub Range Review

amomentwithfranca · 31 January 2021 · 44 Comments

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your little ones looking clean and fresh. Since this pandemic started my girls are also more aware of keeping their hands washed many times during the day as well as being very keen to have a daily wash to scrub any messy dirt away, therefore, we are always looking for new products to help them achieve this. We were excited when Scrubbingtons approached us to try their Full Scrub range. It includes not only bath products but hand sanitisers, hand and face wash as well as a deodorant. All of them especially made for our little one’s delicate skins.

Ad Gifted: We received a Scrubbingtons Full Scrub range bundle for the purpose of this review.

About Scrubbingtons

Scrubbingtons was created by two friends with a passion for natural products and their children. Their mission is to empower children, so they developed a range of products that help children to wash themselves.

Their products are foaming as they are so much easier (and more fun) for kids to use and all their range is 98% natural which is really important to parents who still need to care for a child’s delicate skin. Scrubbingtons bottles are made from 50% recycled plastic but they are working hard to get to 100%.

Scrubbingtons Full Scrub Range

They have a fantastic range of products which are all as mentioned above, eco-friendly. The packaging is fun and appealing to kids too. My girls really like them.

Se below their range:

  • Scrubbingtons Bug off – Hand Sanitiser
  • Scrubbingtons Foaming Hand & Face Wash
  • Scrubbingtons 3 in 1 Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash Foam
  • Scrubbingtons Cotton Soft Bubble Bath
  • Scrubbingtons First Deodorant

They also offer refillable pouches which provide a 78-82% water, energy + plastic savings vs. a bottle. It is also good to know that Scrubbingtons do not test their products on animals. I really like this about this company.

Bug off – Hand Sanitiser (£2.99 for 50ml Stick)

Their new hand sanitiser “Bug Off” is specifically designed for kids using natural ingredients that have been proven to be effective against coronavirus, and extra moisturising ingredients to stop little hands from drying out.

These are a few reasons why Bug off is really good:

  • It’s alcohol-free and still kills 99.9% of bacteria
  • 98% is natural ingredients
  • Foaming – so sticks to little fingers
  • Moisturises the skin
  • Suitable for kids age 3+

As an alternative to using 60%+ alcohol concentration, they use Benzalkonium Chloride (BZK) which has been used for decades to kill nasty bugs and has been approved by many governments including Singapore and Canada.

One of the things that we really like about this hand sanitiser is the smell. It has a gorgeous smell which makes a huge difference with other hand sanitisers that we have tried.

Scrubbingtons “Scrub Upp” Foaming Hand & Face Wash – £3.99 for 200ml

Scrubbingtons Hand & Face Foam is made from natural stuff and tested in lab coats so we know it’s great for everyone to use even those kids with really sensitive skin.

The good thing about being a foam is that unlike gel, the foam actually reaches all the grimy parts which is so important.

My girls use this hand & face foam all the time and they love it. They really feel they have clean hands and face after using it. Because of the sticky feeling, you don’t really need to dry your hands any more which is very handy.

One of the features that I really like about Scrrubbingtons products is that you can buy a refill and reuse the bottle. A refill costs £2.99 for 200ml which of course will save you money and will help with the environment.

Also, it is great that it comes with a pump so you save more of the product as you only need a couple of pumps when you use it. And it lasts for a long time. We have been trying them for a month now and we still have lots left.

Scrubbingtons “Scrub All” 3 in 1 Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash Foam – £3.99 for 200ml

This 3-in-1 Hair & Body Foam is so good. It is a finger sticking shampoo, conditioner and body foam that lasts twice as long as a gel.  I am sharing the girls’ bathroom at the moment and my soap run out so I am now using this and I can confirm it is lovely. I really like it and the smell is so nice.

You can also get a refill when it finishes which is a great feature as your bottle will last even longer.

Scrubbingtons “Scrub A Dub” Cotton Soft Bubble Bath – £3.99 for 250ml

The Scrubbingtons “Scrub A Dub” Cotton Soft Bubble Bath is a moisturising bubble bath with cotton extract and aloe vera which makes it even better for our little one’s delicate skin. The oil from the seeds of cotton makes it super extra soft.

This bubble bath is so good. The girls absolutely love it. It is sp much fun! The smell of this bubble bath is so good too. It has a fresh smell.

Scrubbingtons “Pit Stop” First Deodorant – £3.99 for 50ml Bottle

The Scrubbingtons “Pit Stop” First Deodorant is is the product that Bella was more excited about. She is now 10 and she is so conscious about her body changes, so this came in such great timing.

This deodorant as well as all Scrubbingtons products smell soo good and it is so kind on Bella’s armpits. She has very sensitive skin and she has never had a problem when she uses it. Finding the first deodorant is always an important milestone for kids.

Our Thoughts

We are very happy with all the products in this range. They are all great and smell gorgeous. It is fantastic to find a company that cares about the environment and make eco-friendly products as well as kids friendly and gentle with their skin.

We love that these products last for a long time so it is really good for your money. I love the idea of the refill option too. You can buy this range at Tesco, Ocado and Amazon. But if you buy online through Scrubbingtons website you can get free delivery on orders over £10.

We can highly recommend Scrubbingtons products they are fantastic!

Have you tried Scrubbingtons products before? What is the product that you are most excited t try out?

*Disclosure: We received a Scrubbingtons Full Scrub range bundle for the purpose of this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I also had the opportunity to give a Scrubbingtons bundle to one of my readers.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went t ✨ Cat Cafe In London✨.📍Bella and I went to @javawhiskersuk , a cat cafe located in @westfieldlondon . This was my present for Mother’s Day from her🌸.🌟 Before we went inside, we had to go to a separate room to wash our hands and remove our shoes..🐾 They have 2 different rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge and you can choose to stay from 55 mins to 1hr 55 mins. The prices vary depending on the room you choose and the length of time..🍰 When we stepped inside the room we were greeted by a group of gorgeous kittens. We ordered (before we went inside the room) a latte and a delicious chocolate muffin with chocolate melted inside that was so good. This was served to us in the room while we were surrounded by these adorable kittens..🐱 We spent 55 mins playing and petting the kittens. They were so cute. We loved interacting with them..🥰 Their cafe is also a foster home for homeless cats so if you are looking to adopt one, this is the place to visit! They have had 230 successful adoptions already! 🙌🏻.🚨 The only downside is that you have to be over 10 years old in order to be allowed inside the rooms 😬.🐈 If you are a cat lover like us, I highly recommend you visit Java Whiskers! I thought it would be very chaotic but despite it always being louder when the girls are at home, especially my youngest one, lol, we did well..Bella did school work at home today and had the afternoon free. Sienna didn’t do school work. We only asked her to carry on doing Spanish and Maths via Duolingo. She also had Spanish lessons this afternoon (every Thursday she has lessons) so both days were manageable thankfully 😍.How was it for you? Did your kids stay at home or did they go to school? .PS: let’s hope things get better for teachers.
