Have you heard of Scruff A Luvs Families? Would your kids like to rescue an abandoned pet? They can when they take a Scruff a Luvs family. Will it be a cat or a dog you will find when you wash, dry and groom your new pet? Plus, how many babies will mummy be having? You could have twins or rare triplets!
We already have one so we were excited to see what new pet we would get this time as we got to rescue a whole family! My girls love toys like this, they love taking care of their new dolls and pets so as you can imagine, they were super excited to get unboxing! We got 2 boxes so each of my girls was able to rescue a family.
Unboxing Our Own Scruff a Luvs Families
Sienna opened her box first and she got super excited. The box comes with the fluffy ball + 7 surprises. We got a baby bath with water, a towel and my hairdryer.
Then we were ready to insert the fluffy ball inside the water. After a little while, Sienna was able to see a dog family. And the best part was this mummy had triplets. How cute is that!
Sienna then dried them with the hairdryer and we were able to reveal the gender. When you dry their hearts you can see they can change between blue or pink. All of Sienna’s babies were girls. It did take a little bit of time to dry them all though. The instructions suggest as a tip to put them in the spin option in the washing machine to get more water out of them. We didn’t do this but I think next time they wet them we will give this a go.
Next, then moved to reveal the other 7 surprises with cute accessories. The first surprise was the birth certificate which you can peel a sticker and will tell when these babies were born. And also you can add their names. Sienna called them Ella, Carole and Sophia.
After she had named them, she got stickers so we knew what to do when she opened the next surprised which was a collar with a hard shape. This is where you stick the stickers depending on what gender the babies are. There was also a brush, a bottle and clothes, Sienna thought it was very exciting.
Then was Bella’s turn. She did exactly the same as Sienna. Bella rescued a cat family with twins. She was a little bit disappointed they were not triplets like the ones Sienna’s got but she was very happy to have rescued a cat family.
Her twins were both boys. So she named them John and Peter. She was more patient drying them than Sienna as expected so she managed to get them drier. She also used my drier which was more powerful which helped to get this job done quickly.
She got the same accessories but she had to choose different stickers on the heart shape collar. Both the mummy pets sparkle too when they are dry which looks lovely and is a nice touch.
My girls both found the unboxing process so much fun and really exciting. They both loved being able to rescue two lovely families; a dog family and a cat family. Now they have 5 babies and 2 mummies plus a previous rescued cat Sienna got last year so a total of 8 pets! Very cute.
I am hosting a giveaway on my Instagram account so one of you can win a Scruff A Luvs Families too. So don’t waste time and head over my Instagram.
