Spoil Someone With Lovely Peonies

amomentwithfranca · 9 June 2016 · 60 Comments

Hola chicos, Bloom & Wild, a company I have featured previously who provide amazing letterbox flowers, have invited me to be part of their group of selected bloggers called, the Wildflower Collective. This group get to preview the  company’s gorgeous arrangements of flowers before they are announced and made available to the public. How amazing is that? I have been a massive fan of them since the beginning of my blogging journey as they were one of the first companies that agreed to let me review one of their letterbox arrangements. This review has provided to me of my biggest traffic as who would not found amusing this new service. I will always mention this as they were so kind with me when my blog was just so little. So I will always be very grateful for that. You can tell a lot about them just with this.

B&W PEONIES FI

This latest new letterbox arrangement I have been kindly sent, are peonies. I have never received this type of flower before so this added to my excitement. I have heard a lot about peonies but have never actually bought them, or had them bought for me, before. It was also great to receive them just before my birthday which meant I was able to show them off in my home during that time.

IMG_8158

When the peonies arrived, they came in the usual highly quality packaging that Bloom & Wild flowers always do. Please refer to my previous review to find out more about their service and the way they take care of their flowers.

IMG_8161

I removed the peonies from the box and started removing the protective netting from each one I received. As soon as I did this I was able to see how the petals opened out and became bigger. After putting them all in a vase, they looked stunning! I really recommend you to send peonies to someone you really care a lot about as I’m 100% sure you will brighten their day. They will be thinking about you a lot! 🙂

One of the things that I like a lot about Bloom & Wild letterbox flowers is that they send them to you from the beginning of the life of the flower so you are able to see them blooming in front of your eyes. This adds to the WOW factor and was something that really struck me when I reviewed them for the first time. My flowers lasted a long time.

IMG_8307

IMG_8306

Peonies are gorgeous flowers but you have to bear in mind that they have a shorter lifespan compared with other flowers, so they will not last quite as long. However, whilst they are in bloom they will more than make up for this. They literally made me smile every time they caught my eye!

I found myself using them in the background of a few photos that I needed to do for some other product reviews. I felt very lucky to have them.  Another interesting thing that I discovered while I had them at home is that peonies tend to change their colour. This was amazing to watch. I found it incredible to see them change from a hot coral colour to an almost ombre peach. Very interesting.

IMG_8303

Bloom & Wild have various arrangements to choose from and they are all absolutely gorgeous but if you are a fan of peonies like I am now, then you would probably like to order some when they become available. This flower arrangement is paired with coral peonies, bupleurim, yellow solidago and craspedia for a bold and bright look.

IMG_8150

Each box comes with instructions of what to do to ensure your flowers will last longer. This also explains a little bit about the contents of the arrangement along with some ideas of how to style them.

IMG_8309

You can see below a short video that shows how awesome peonies bloom, 🙂

Again, I was incredibly satisfied and happy with my letterbox flowers. I am definitely a fan of this type of service and I highly recommend you to try them too. No more waiting around at home for your flowers to arrive. This is an innovative, unique and fantastic service.

Have you tried Bloom & Wild before? If so, what were your impressions? Did you like their service and their flowers? What do you think of these peonies? Will you be getting them for someone? Leave a comment below with your thoughts as I would love to know what you think!

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

These flowers look absolutely beautiful! We’ve never actually had flowers in the house! The last time I had a bunch was after I had Evangeline! #kcacols

I absolutely LOVE peonies. They are my all time favourite flower. We had them at our wedding, I think they are beautiful! I know that they have only just come into season and keep looking out for them when I see flowers so that I can buy a bunch. I’ve heard and read a lot of great things about Bloom & Wild so perhaps I will have to try them now! Lovely review, sounds like a great company to be working with 🙂 Emily #KCACOLS

I have never been in to flowers until recently.. we’ve just moved and there are areas in our house that absolutely look amazing with flowers in them (even though I only realised they looked good there after getting them as gifts from friends) and I have been making a conscious effort to keep fresh flowers in these areas. Ive never heard of peonies but they look great! it’s been pretty fun and interesting finding out about flowers. A post service is pretty cool too. #kcacols

I love peonies (although I don’t think I’ve ever had any in the house – just admired them from afar!) my brother in law uses a similar letterbox service to send flowers (and even buys them for himself!) – it is a great idea as all of my family live far away so anything that can be sent in the post is a huge bonus for me. I recently reviewed a letterbox cake which I loved the idea of for the same reason! There is still something lovely about getting nice things through the post too isn’t there??

Oh I adore peonies! They are beautiful. I’ve never heard of Bloom & Wild but will check them out – i love the little instructions of how to keep the flowers for their longest. I’m a big flower buyer and try to buy a new bunch for every weekend – one of my indulgences! Thank you for sharing this post and cheering my view up on this very wet and dull day! #KCACOLS

I absolutely adore peonies but sadly my garden supply does not last long enough! I love all the different stages of the bloom, and the way the colour changes too. I’ve been lusting after Bloom & Wild’s bouqets for ages – this one is stunning! So much care in the packaging too, great attention to detail from them. #KCACOLS

I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast.
