If you watched my stories this morning, you probably saw that we went to The Royal Institution of Great Britain to attend an exclusive premiere of @andyandtheoddsocks new TV show that had a live broadcast on @cbeebieshq and @cbbc. ⁣

My girls were super excited to go to this event! They really wanted to meet Andy in person! They are big fans! We enjoyed an exclusive performance by the band and of course the girls were very lucky to have a meet and greet with them too! And I got in the picture as well! Not only the girls are fans! LOL ;-)⁣

The new show is now available on @bbciplayer and the girls have been watching it since we got back home! They really like it and enjoyed singing all the songs. They received a CD of their new album which they have been listening to at home too! ⁣

This was a fabulous experience! We loved seeing how a tv show is made, especially all the behind the scenes actions! My girls were fascinated! ⁣

A week ago, I went to @duckandwaffle with my niece as we wanted to go to a cool place with a nice view of London. This place was recommended to us so we booked a table and went for brunch. ⁣
⁣
The day was a little bit cloudy so the views were not as clear as I was hoping to but despite that, the whole experience was mesmerising. You can come to this place at any time because it is open 24 hrs. So imagine those sunsets or sunrises there! I will definitely try to do an early start another day.⁣

Duck & Waffle is located at the 40th floor of the Heron Tower in Bishopsgate in the City of London. We had the view of The Gherkin which made it even more special. ⁣
⁣
We ordered a Rosemary & Garlic Bread which was really good! We both loved it. Then my niece had The Woodland Mushroom Risotto which she said was really tasty and I had the famous Duck & Waffle (crispy leg confit, fried duck egg, mustard maple syrup). This was AMAZING! OMG I really recommend it to you. If you like sweat and sour meals, this is definitely for you. Swipe left to see more photos and a video of this dish. This was for sure a FANTASTIC experience! We both really enjoyed it and I would really want to come back next time with Nick. ⁣

Finally half term is here! After so much illness in my house this is exactly what we need: a well-deserved break!⁣

My niece is coming back from Switzerland 🇨🇭 tomorrow night so we are looking forward to spending some quality time with her. ⁣
⁣
We have a wrestling event on Monday that should be fun and then we are thinking to spend one day in Cambridge. She hasn’t been there yet so it will be nice to explore it again with her. The other days we will be probably exploring more London and have fun together. I just hope the weather is kind to us. ⁣
