Trending Jewellery for Your Winter Wardrobe

amomentwithfranca · 27 September 2019 · 13 Comments

With winter fast approaching, now is the time to start thinking about your look for the colder months of the year. While you will certainly want to purchase new clothing for winter, it is important that you do not forget about jewellery as this also needs to be changed to reflect your new wardrobe style for the colder months.

With this in mind, here are a few of the best jewellery types to consider for the upcoming season.

Collar Necklaces

Winter is not usually a season for low-cut tops but necklaces can still look fantastic and add to your style during the colder months of the year.

For example, a gorgeous gold collar necklace would look so stylish and beautiful as the one shown above. It would definitely stand out and it will make you feel amazing.

Another option could be layered and longer necklaces over wintery tops. These are also a great alternative,  especially if you have a stylish pendant on the end (hearts are particularly in right now). Layered necklaces look equally fabulous when worn with a turtle neck jumper.

Pearl Earrings

Pearl earrings, obviously, look fantastic at any time of the year but they are a particularly good option for the winter months. This is because they mimic the sparkle of snow and can look beautiful when worn with large, thick jumpers and other wintery garments.

Places like Fhinds carry a wide range of stunning pearl earrings and other types of pearl jewellery to consider (pearls always look great during winter). With a wide variety to choose from.

Stackable Rings

Accessorising in winter can be tough often because you are covering up a lot more skin. Stacked rings are a good option and you can spread these across multiple fingers.

You can match the rings to the other colours of your jewellery or your outfit but do not shy away from mixing the metal colours (just be sure that your outfit also has mixed metal colours). This year, it’s all about stacking simple designed rings.

Bangles and wrapped bracelets

Bangles are another good choice for the winter months especially if you have 3 or 4 on one wrist – you can also mix metal colours here too. While bangles are not ideal if you are wearing a bulky sweater, they can look classy and sophisticated when paired with a thin sweater in a dark shade, such as forest green.

Another option is a wrapped bracelet, these are simple designs but wrap around your wrist a few times, best worn alone with-out adding any other bracelets to your wrist. Worn best when you have the same metal colour worn throughout your outfit.

Rose Gold Jewellery

Rose gold jewellery can work well during the winter months because it pairs well with many wintery shades. It can add a touch of sophistication and class to any outfit especially when used as an accent.

You need to consider wardrobe changes for the upcoming seasons but you should not forget about your jewellery. The above are the best types to wear during the colder months of the year which can work well with autumn and winter clothing.

What are your best types of jewellery for the Winter?

I think jewelry just adds a little bit of sparkle to any dress. I always dress up even a simple dress with a statement piece. Love it. Good collection of inspiration.

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
