Wicked Wednesday – Like this Mummy?

amomentwithfranca · 7 October 2015 · 24 Comments

Its #WickedWednesday and as you may be able to tell from today’s photo, Sienna has been practising to eat on her own with some messy results…

Lately I have been trying to let Sienna get used to eating on her own with some basic finger foods. The other day I gave her some yoghurt to try and this was the resulting mess! She had fun though I think and its good for her to start getting independent… Mummy just has to get used to dealing with the mess LOL!

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

Franca  💋

I’m dreading weaning. Quite happy with baby bottles for now. She still only takes 5oz (when she feels like it) so no rush for us x

Yes the messy part is the one part that I don’t like as much. But she is enjoying it so if she is happy I’m happy then! 🙂 x

So sweet! Haha Holly make about that much mess. Okay maybe a little more sometimes when she’s eating her yoghurt, because she’ll randomly decide she needs to eat the rest with her hands. *Yip her hands* oh and the best part is when she’s done she wipes them on my trousers. Xx

Mine is exactly the same!! I took the photos before but half way through she gives up and go straight to eating the rest with her hands! OMG that trousers part is a must!! She also loves cleaning herself on me!! LOL Kids!!! 😉 x

Oh bless! I never really had the messy stage with Xander for long – he’s rather anti-mess for some reason! He’s pretty handy with a spoon now, but lord help me if a bit gets on his fingers. All I hear then is “Mama, mess! Mess! Ewwwww! Dirty. Mess”. #wickedwednesdays

My oldest didn’t really like making too much mess but my youngest loves it. It’s really hard to let them get too messy but they have fun and enjoy it so I think you have to let them! #wickedwednesday

✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our ✨First Week in Torrevieja✨ ☀️🏖️.Our first week in Torrevieja was a mix of unexpected moments and relaxation. Sienna’s 9th birthday took an unexpected turn when she cut her thumb, and we spent some time in the ER getting a single stitch. 😢 But she’s a trooper and handled it like a champ..Despite this, we still managed at the start of that first week to soak up some sun, enjoy the pool, watch beautiful sunsets, and take in the incredible views. Evenings by the pool became our thing, creating lasting memories and a sense of calm. It wasn’t the week we had planned, but it turned out to be a week of quality family time and unwinding. ☀️🏖️.Swipe left to see our first week in pictures, and if you keep checking until the last photo, you can see Sienna’s stitch. She was such a brave soul. 💪.Now, who else has had unexpected adventures during their travels? .#Torrevieja #BeachView....Costa Blanca | Torrevieja | Family Ttravel | Sunsets | Pool Relaxation | Holiday Memories | Family Bonding | Spain | Alicante | Travel Blogger |
