4 Reasons To Go Paintballing

amomentwithfranca · 27 October 2016 · 16 Comments

Have you been Paintballing before? Aside from being an adrenaline-fuelled day of paint-splattering combat, there are some other great reasons to go paintballing. Compared to most sports, paintball is still in its youth, with the first official game taking place over 35 years ago. Since then, paintballing has evolved into a sport that’s not only played globally on a professional level but is also a popular activity for people of all ages to immerse themselves in its authentic style of combat.

4 Reasons To Go Paintballing

Apart from the obvious appeal of having a prime opportunity to shoot your friends, family and even your boss with a barrage of paintballs, there are plenty of other reasons why paintballing is a very rewarding experience. From health benefits to family bonding opportunities, here’s why a day out paintballing is worth experiencing.

See below 4 reasons why you should go paintballing:

1. A Day Out for All Ages

shooting

It can often be hard work finding an activity that different age groups can play and genuinely enjoy. Paintball is a sport you wouldn’t think would be suited to younger kids, but pay a trip a professional-quality, safety-ensured paintball facility and you’ll quickly see how the entire family can enjoy themselves.

Paintball has evolved so much over the last two decades, with companies taking the right steps to make their games accessible to people of all ages. For example, if younger children will be taking part, the weapons used will be less powerful to make sure the impact of the paintballs isn’t unnecessarily harsh.

For parents looking for a weekend activity that can involve everyone, paintball is the ideal option. Not only do your kids have an awesome day, but you can also immerse yourself in the chaos of excursion paintball. Even if you’re not one for high-intensity, outdoor activities, you’ll get to see your kids smiling and having a great day — and it’s nice to try something new once in a while!

2. It’s a Great Way to Exercise

smoke-grenades

A day of paintball will involve a lot of running around, climbing over obstacles, and maybe even a few commando rolls if you want to get into the spirit of things. You’ll also be wearing a few layers of clothing to soften the blow of a paintball shot, so carrying around that extra weight while being so active is a great form of cardio and strength exercise.

Even for those of us who are not the image of fitness or gym-goers, you’d be surprised how motivated you are to keep moving when there’s an opposing team raining paintballs down over you! If the time comes when you need to catch your breath, there are plenty of sniping spots to take advantage of.

3. Blow Off Some Steam

team-action

Throughout the week — whether you’re at work, home or university — there are plenty of opportunities for you to find yourself frustrated by the weekend. Instead of staying in bed all weekend and heading into next week still grumpy, head out and do something about it!

It just so happens that a day of paintballing is hard to beat when it comes to blowing off steam. First and foremost, there’s something very intense about the authentic combat of a game of paintball. Not only do the variety of different maps give you plenty to explore, but using team tactics to get the advantage over your enemies is a satisfying feeling.

4. Team Building

undergrowth

The two words that any employee dreads. Whether it’s in work activities or you’ve been taken somewhere to bond with co-workers, team building is never great and can often be a mixture of awkwardness and boredom.

With that said, one activity that really does bring out the best in people in regards to their ability to work as a team is paintballing. You may not be overly chummy with your teammates, but during paintball, you’ll find you suddenly have a lot in common. Firstly, you would quite like to have the bragging rights of the day by winning and, secondly, you would all prefer to be the one doing the shooting instead of being shot.

Team tactics are a vital aspect of paintball and, although you may want to be a ‘lone wolf’, you’ll soon find that this option can often lead to you wearing a lot of paint. Planning ambushes to precision and working well as a team is a great way to bond with others, creating a genuinely enjoyable team building experience.

Paintball is definitely an experience everyone should try at least once. The benefits mentioned above show that it can have positive effects on people with a variety of different reasons. Whether you’re looking for some exercise that doesn’t involve sweating it out in the gym, need something new and exciting to do with the kids at the weekend, or just fancy going toe to toe with some friends in a combat situation, paintball has you covered. But..…not covered in paint, hopefully, LOL!

Have you been paintballing before? Have you done this activity with your family? Would you take your family along? What do you think of these reasons? Please leave a comment below as I would love to read what you think.

Paintball is full of enjoyment, If you are playing under the rain or sunlight. It has some necessary protection that every player should keep in mind regarding paintball costume, and mask.

If you play with all safety protection believe me, you will not find any activity of this much fun.

So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
