Not long ago I was invited to a lovely event organised by Tefal where they told us all about their amazing Cook4Me product. As most of you know, I don’t cook and it’s usually my hubby Nick who cooks at home, generally during the weekends (we tend to cook frozen or more convenient meals during the week as we are all so busy!). When I heard about Cook4Me I was very intrigued about it and wanted to find out more!
The idea of being able to provide healthy, home cooked meals to our girls in an easy way and in less than 30 minutes sounded amazing to me. I thought that this would be a great solution for us as I would be able to cook some meals during the week for my girls if it was not going to take me a lot of time and it was going to be easy and quick to prepare recipes. The idea sounded fantastic to me!
Basically, the Cook4Me is a smart multi cooker that does the hard work for you! This smart pressure cooker comes with 50 pre-programmed recipes. It guides you simply and speedily through cooking delicious meals for up to 6 people.
The event I attended was held in a lovely house in North London. The house had a gorgeous kitchen which was perfect to try out and test all the features of this amazing cooker. There were about 9 other bloggers and we were separated into smaller groups so we could cook four different recipes. While the first two groups cooked starters the other two groups were resting and being pampered in another room. That was just fabulous! 😉
To begin with we were all gathered to be told all about this cooker, in terms of how it works and what features it has. I was so impressed to hear all the great recipes you could do with it in a short amount of time!
You can see a short video of our day prepared by Tefal below:
Main Features:
- FAST – Over 30 recipes you can cook in less than 15 minutes
- EASY – Step-by-step instructions and automatic cooking times and temperatures
- DELICIOUS – 50 pre-set mouthwatering home-cooked recipes
Between all of us we prepared two starters (Italian Vegetable Soup with Croutons and Potato & Leek Soup) and two main dishes (Tuna Puttanesca and Butternut Squash Risotto)
My partner in crime for this cooking challenge was Sarah from Mumzilla. I was glad to hear that she likes cooking and she knew what to do so I said that I was going to follow her lead ;-). We were asked to cook the Italian Vegetable Soup With Croutons that takes about 10 minutes to do. We were able to choose for how many people we wanted to cook this meal for so we did it for the maximum amount which was 6 people as there were a lot of us in the house.
We needed carrots, chopped onion, tomato pasta sauce with onion and garlic, vegetable stock, canned canellini beans and sugar. We had to put all the ingredients together and then put the specific settings on the cooker, preheat it for a few minutes and then put the ingredients inside. The cooker does all this for you, prompting you when necessary so you just literally have to wait for it to do all the hard work! As I said in the title of the post we can now enjoy life with this cooker and be able to eat yummy and healthy food.
I’ve shared another short video from Tefal below showing how easy it was to cook this meal:
The best part of this event was that we were able to get one of these amazing Cook4Me cookers too! I was so excited when I was told that. It was great news, and the funny thing is that when I mentioned this to Nick he was even more excited than me. He was asking me every day if the cooker had arrived – it was so funny! He really likes cooking and he was so looking forward to testing it at home!
I will do a separate post with more details about the meals we cooked at home but so far we have prepared:
- Italian Vegetable Soup (starter) – I liked this so much that we tried it at home too
- Pesto Chicken Risotto (main dish)
- Chilli con Carne (main dish)
- Sweet and Sour Pork (main dish)
- Bread and Butter Pudding (dessert)
You can see below another video from Tefal about my thoughts on the Cook4Me:
We have also prepared rice which it is really good and quick at too! You can find out more about Tefal and its Cook4Me on Facebook, Twitter or You Tube.
You can buy the Cook4me on their official online store or from other retailers such as Argos, Currys, Debenhams, John Lewis, Lakeland or Amazon.
Have you heard of the Cook4Me before? What do you think of its features? Do you normally use a pressure cooker? Will this be a great help for you? Please leave a comment below as I would love to hear what you think.
*Disclaimer: I received this fantastic Cook4me from Tefal after attending an event for the purpose of this review but all opinions and thoughts are my own. I was also offered the opportunity to giveaway the same cooker.
Thanks for stopping by,
Love you all ❤️

I have an ancient Tefal pressure cooker for the hob that is so old the knob to seal the lid is broken. I have to use a towel to turn it so I dont hurt myself but I don’t want to throw it out. The Cook4Me would be a great replacement.
I love the idea of this cooker it would be great for making my sons favourite meatballs in
wow great prize always wanted one
i haven’t a pressure cooker, ive never cooked with one. I recall my mum having one when I was a teenager. one of the things I like about this, is how quick it cook things.
I would love to w8n this ad it is so stylish and sleek. Not like a lot of other kitchen appliances which can be bulky and ugly.
I would use it for anything and everything as I am a keen and active cook. Fingers crossed x
I’ve got an old pressure cooker at home that we use a lot – mostly for curries and stews. It really does speed up the cooking time for these sort of things! It also scares the cat to death when it starts whistling! This Cook4Me looks a great modern update, I would love to try it out!
I like this cooker and features. I would like to make variety of curry recipe. I got a 8 years old fashion cooker, which now unusable. It would be great to have one of this cooker.
I have never had a slow cooker and this one sounds and looks amazing. I love to cook and bake and I love to follow recipes wherever I can find them. I make homemade bread and soups and I love to experiment with new recipes and flavours! I would love to own a slow cooker for making my beef & dumpling stews and chicken curries.
It’s ages since I’ve used my pressure cooker, probably the 80’s when I was first married! I need a re-vamp. Think of the energy I’d save and the old recipes I’d dig out it would be like returning to the 80’s and it scares cats too (see above) ha ha what a treat.
Such a handy piece of equipment, would love to cook family meal’s quickly on it as got 3 young kids and am always so busy
I haven’t seen a pressure cooker for 10 years! My parents used it all the times to cook things quickly.
Wow, this cook looks great I love cooking soups for a healthy luch so this would be brilliant 🙂
I love the look of the Cook4Me! The features sound fantastic. I’d love to try all the recipes, but especially the chilli con carne. I don’t have a pressure cooker, though my mum does and I love it – it’s something I would love to own, but other things keep taking priority! I’d love to win this because I think it would really help me to cook a better variety and more interesting assortment of meals – I am definitely stuck in an “easy” rut at the moment!
I’d love to cook with the Tefal Cook4Me because I’m always keen to try out new gadgets and methods of cooking. I make a lot of soup using a wooden spoon and a saucepan so this would be a real treat to whizz up soup in a jiffy. I have friends who said to me they use a pressure cooker for soup and i should get one. Also, risotto sounds very tempting.
I’ve never used a pressure cooker before, but with 3 young children to feed, it sounds like a godsend. I’m never organised enough to plan ahead with a slow cooker, so the fast cooking times with this sound like the answer to our hectic life!
With a new baby about to arrive any day now I would love to win this pressure cooker to make meal times that little bit easier! The sweet and sour chicken looks delicious 🙂
If it is made by Tefal you know it is going to be good. I have never had a pressure cooker but I remember my Aunt having the old type which she loved. I normally try out their recipe suggestions first and work from there. Fantastic prize, thank you x
looks sensational would love this being a carer don’t get much spare time so this cook4me cooker would be great for stews curries and so much more for nutricious hearty meals for my family
looks an ideal product for those with busy lifestyle who still want to have freshly made food, love the convenience and speed of the cooking for some of the recipies
Anything that cuts down on time cooking a meal would be most welcome. I would make homemade soup because I am terrible for not using up leftovers. I do have a pressure cooker which I use
THis pressure cooker looks great
I have previously owned an old fashioned pressure cooker and I must admit I was scared of it. This looks so simple to use and I love the fact it gives you so many options of what to cook.
My friend swears by these, it looks fab, I would love one especially with winter coming to make lots of hot meals llike stew, curry and chilli
