The Jury Experience London Review: An Immersive Courtroom Drama Where You Decide the Verdict

amomentwithfranca · 30 January 2026 · Leave a Comment

If you’re looking for unique things to do in London, especially something a little different from traditional theatre, The Jury Experience London is well worth adding to your list. We recently attended The Jury Experience: Diamonds, Lies and a Dead Man at Shaw Theatre, and it turned out to be one of the most engaging immersive experiences we’ve tried in the city.

The Jury Experience London Review

This isn’t a show where you sit back and watch. From the moment you arrive, you’re part of the story — quite literally, because the audience becomes the jury.

The Jury Experience London Review: An Immersive Courtroom Drama Where You Decide the Verdict

What Is The Jury Experience London?

The Jury Experience Stage

The Jury Experience London is a live, immersive theatre production in which the audience plays the role of the jury in a fictional criminal trial. Professional actors perform a courtroom drama in real time, presenting witness testimonies, evidence and arguments from both sides.

Throughout the show, audience members are asked to vote on key moments using their phones, which influence how the case unfolds and, ultimately, determine the final verdict.

There are different cases running, so the experience can vary depending on which one you attend. The case we saw — Diamonds, Lies and a Dead Man — centres around the disappearance of a $20 million diamond necklace and the trial of a disgraced ex-driver accused of stealing it.

Our Experience: Diamonds, Lies and a Dead Man

What surprised us most about The Jury Experience London was how quickly we became invested. As the testimonies unfolded, it genuinely felt like every detail mattered. You’re constantly weighing up what you’ve heard, questioning motives, and second-guessing your initial assumptions.

The interactive voting adds a real sense of pressure — especially knowing that the final outcome depends entirely on the audience. We were still debating the verdict long after the show ended, which says a lot about how engaging it is.

It’s tense, clever, and genuinely fun, without being overwhelming or too serious.

Is The Jury Experience London Worth It?

If you enjoy interactive theatre and are looking for something genuinely different to do in London, I’d absolutely recommend The Jury Experience London. It’s engaging, thought-provoking and great fun — especially if you like debating and analysing what you’ve just watched.
