HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager Review

amomentwithfranca · 27 August 2022 · 138 Comments

Not long ago, I shared some items that the girls chose to give to Nick for Father’s Day, and one of the items was the HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager which he loves so much. It was one of his favourite presents from the girls. Also, it seemed to be quite popular among my readers because going back through the comments a fair amount of people highlighted that the HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager was their favourite from the list and that they would love to try it too.

ABOUT HOMEDICS

Homedics was founded in 1987 by two entrepreneurs and it is widely recognised for its home massage products.

They also have a full line of in-home wellness products that are uniquely designed to promote your well-being such as Air filters, humidifiers, sleep aids, fitness monitors and more.

ABOUT HOMEDICS HANDHELD SHIATZU MASSAGER

The HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager is great to soothe those stiff muscles giving you instant stress relief and offering deep, penetrating techniques. It works by recreating the famous Japanese Shiatsu technique.

The interchangeable massage heads allow you to mix and match your massage techniques, each helping you to feel relaxed, recharged and fully refreshed. It is also equipped with a soft cover allowing you to give yourself a facial massage.

CONTENT INSIDE THE HOMEDICS HANDHELD SHIATZU MASSAGER  BOX

Box Contains:

  • 1 x HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager Unit
  • 3 x Interchangeable Heads
  • 1 x Soft mesh cover
  • 1 x Manual with a 2-year warranty

HOMEDICS HANDHELD SHIATZU MASSAGER  FEATURES

These are the main features of this handheld massager:

  • Variable speed for your perfect massage
  • Auto Pulse Program to relax sore muscles
  • 3 interchangeable heads
  • Soft cover for facial massage
  • Ergonomic easy-grip handle for ease of use

HOW DO YOU USE THE HOMEDICS HANDHELD SHIATZU MASSAGER

To make it work you need to press the POWER button located on the top of the handle. To increase the intensity of the massage, continue to press the POWER button until the desired intensity is reached. To turn the unit off, press the POWER button past the highest intensity setting.

It comes with 3 interchangeable heads so you can customise your handheld massager. Each of the heads should be used with the mesh head for maximum comfort.

  • The Wave head

It is perfect for smoothing over stiff muscles to soothe aches.

  • The Arc head

Delivers an invigorating massage to wake up tired muscles and kick start your circulation.

  • The Roller head

Provides a deep tissue massage, the smaller nodes can be worked deeper into your muscle layers to relieve painful muscles.

Always remember to replace the Soft Mesh Cover before use it should never be used without the Soft Mesh Cover in place. It works best if you massage in a firm circular motion, concentrating on targeted problem areas of the body.

Also, you should treat the area you are massaging for a short period of time and move to another area. You should NEVER treat the same area for longer than 3 minutes. It is also great to know that the device will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of continuous use.

OUR THOUGHTS ON THE HOMEDICS HANDHELD SHIATZU MASSAGER

We really like the HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager. It is a great gadget to use at home to relieve aching and stiff muscles providing soothing massage to worn muscles. It is very easy to use, you simply turn on the power button and press the arrows to go on higher or lower intensity. It takes a few attempts to understand how to change the interchangeable head but then it is pretty straightforward. It is not particularly noisy which is great.

It is very relaxing to use and very versatile as you can use it everywhere. So it is super handy when you feel your muscles are tied and you need to worn them out. It is a great gadget to have a home. You should try it too.

Do you like handheld massagers? What do you think of the HoMedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager?

I have tried a larger massager before but it was too aggressive so this maybe more appropriate and a bit more managable for my weak hands.

I have fairly recently started a new job, which involves lots of walking, moving and climbing as well as sitting, so I quite often ache at the end of the day, coupled with not having had time to go to the osteopath, this would really help, I think.

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. It is so good! 😋 I vary the fruit that I put in but everything else is the same..What do you like eating for breakfast?.#overnightoats #oatsforbreakfast #easybreakfast #simplebreakfast #togobreakfast #quickbreakfast #breakfastideas #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastinspo #breakfastbowl #breakfastgoals #breakfastlover #oatmealbowl #breakfastclub #oatmealbowl
✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
