#KCACOLS – 20th March 2016

amomentwithfranca · 19 March 2016 · 11 Comments

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a great week!! Thank you again for all your support. We did WELL last week with 75 link ups!! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of this linky! For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! 🙂

PLEASE READ BELOW

There will be no “KCACOLS” next week (Saturday 26th to Wednesday 30th March). I have decided to have that weekend off because it is the Easter holidays and we will spend that weekend with Nick’s family. The linky will therefore, the BE BACK LIVE AGAIN ON SATURDAY 2nd APRIL.

I had a good week. Bella went to the National Gallery for the first time with her school class and had lots of fun. They took the Tube and did 2 changes. Bella really loved the whole experience. Sienna was very helpful at nursery selling cakes for sport relief. Apparently she was the best seller for that day, I guess she brought lots of charm lol!!! Apparently it’s awards season in the parent blogging world!! Yes we have the Mads Awards 2016 organised by Tots 100 and also we have The Brilliance in Blogging Awards – the BiBs organised by Britmums. We will now all be thinking who we should be nominating in the coming weeks. There is so much talent around that it is really hard to choose! If you like my blog and/or my videos I would love if you could nominate me!! You would indeed make me a really happy blogger and I would be extremely grateful! Phew, that is everything I needed to say!! LOL

Anyway, now back to the linky. This week the commenting was also very good. Not as good as the previous week but it was still strong. This time we had 8 posts with 3 comments. The rest of the posts had between 4 and 14 comments! Also for this week the last post linked up had 7 comments which I thought was great. Keep doing this guys as it is lovely for people to know that they can link up at any stage when the linky is open and still be fully part of it. You guys really are LOVELY PEOPLE who know how to be generous and spread so much love within the linky!!

This week we had 5 people that didn’t comment on the post before their post. I’m happy to see that this  number is getting lower. Thank you guys!! Always remember to start with that comment first and then go around as much as you would like.  I’m also very pleased to see that most of you are using the hashtag to comment. I’m very happy with that too!! So for new people that link up this week please use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a back link which helps to improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. I read them all and I have liked them all!

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CO-HOSTING: Thank you so much for all the emails I received from people offering their help. I really appreciate that. I will be booking people in different slots and I will be emailing you soon. Please bear with me regarding the confirmation emails with all the details. I will be emailing people according to their booking dates with an anticipation of 2 weeks in advance or maybe more if I have the time to be more organised, so have that in mind. If you would like to co-host with me please you would need to be a regular to this linky and know all the rules. You can always ask to be booked for a future date but at least I would like you have had at least one month of linking up with #KCACOLS.   So, if you are free and would  like to be my second guest co-host for one week please send an email to franca@amomentwithfranca.com.

FeaturedPost_Suburban_Mum

I would like to say THANK YOU so much to MARIA from Suburban Mum for helping me with the commenting this week! She was REALLY GOOD as always.  MARIA, you are AWESOME!!!

FeaturedPost_LifeAtHomeWithMrsB

As I told you last week, from this weekend we will start having 2 guest co-hosts per week which will hopefully make things easier for us. My first guest co-host is RACHEL from Life at Home with Mrs B. This is not the first time that Rachel is helping me. Maybe you don’t recognise her because she has recently changed the name of her blog.

FeaturedPost_Suburban_Mum

My second guest co-host is again MARIA from Suburban Mum.  She always helps so I thought why not start this new co-hosting arrangement with having her first!! She loves #KCACOLS  and we love her too, so I’m really happy that she will be supporting me this week too!! Please give her some love again if you haven’t done it already. These are her social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@suburb4nmum) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally she has a guest co-host post, Review: Café Rouge linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!!

FeaturedPost_R_is_for_Hoppit
For last week, the person who commented the most was again LUCY from R is for Hoppit. She has been commenting a lot and as usual her comments are always very thoughtful. She commented on 28 posts. Thank you so much LUCY! You are AMAZING! Her post from last week was Toddler Literature. If you haven’t read it already, you can go and check it out now! 😉
 FeaturedPost_Candyfloss_and_Dreams
The second person who has commented a lot this week is KAT from Candyfloss and Dreams. This is the first time that I’m featuring Kat and I’m very happy because even though she has not been part of this linky for long she has been very involved since she started linking up. She has also been so nice spreading so much love within the linky. I love that!! She was GREAT!! She commented on 26 posts. Thank you so much lovely!
FeaturedPost_NotJustThe3OfUs
The 3rd person who commented a lot this week was NICKY from Not Just the 3 of Us. I’m so excited to feature Nicky for the first time too!! She has been a regular at this linky from almost the start and she has always been great. She has been really generous with her commenting this week and I’m very grateful for it. She has commented on 24 posts which is FANTASTIC!! Thank you so much NICKY! YOU ARE A STAR. Her post from last week was Celebrating Success. Please go and check it out! 🙂
Behind Lucy, Kat and Nicky was EMMA from Island Living 365  with 23 comments, TRACEY from One Frazzled Mum with 20 comments and SARAH from Mumzilla with 21 comments. Thank you so much lovely ladies!!! 🙂

For this week’s linky I am linking up 2 posts: “Zookeeper Zoe – Boots’s New Free & Fun Eye Check Storybook” and “BGO Superhero Cinema Night” so I hope you like them! 😉

Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. I have pinned all your posts from the last linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!

[do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Each week I will choose about 3 posts of people that have commented THE MOST or that have commented A LOT and I will feature it on my weekly #KCACOLS linky post.

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts per week.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on one of the hosts posts (choose one that you would like to comment on as I will be linking up 2 posts every week if possible). Then comment the guest co-hosts. Then comment on the post which is linked up immediately before yours and finally any other post that you would like to comment on. That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until Wednesday at 11.59 pm.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, Maria @suburb4nmum and Rachel @lifewithMrsB we will both retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest  Bloglovin and Google+) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting  your posts!! 🙂

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. It is so good! 😋 I vary the fruit that I put in but everything else is the same..What do you like eating for breakfast?.#overnightoats #oatsforbreakfast #easybreakfast #simplebreakfast #togobreakfast #quickbreakfast #breakfastideas #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastinspo #breakfastbowl #breakfastgoals #breakfastlover #oatmealbowl #breakfastclub #oatmealbowl
✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? What are your plans? .#sistertime #sisterlylove #sistersgoals #sisterhood #hermanas #sistersforever #sistersforlife #sisterslove #siblingslove #lovemydaughters #raisingdaughters #mydaughters #westfield #westfieldlondon #londonkids
✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
