#KCACOLS – 22nd May 2016

amomentwithfranca · 21 May 2016 · 8 Comments

Welcome back to my linky #KCACOLS. I hope you all had a fantastic week! We did REALLY WELL last week with 110 link ups! YAAY!!! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky in the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂

kcacols700x400

I had an amazing week with lots of highs! We had family over last weekend for Bella’s birthday celebrations and and they stayed until Monday. She really enjoyed having her family around! I had an event on Tuesday but I only found out at the last minute that it would be with the TV personality, Jo Frost (Supernanny!). I was so excited to actually meet her. I have followed her for years so it was like a dream come true to see her in person. She is just so down to earth and the most helpful person ever. I have linked up my post about my experience so you will find out all about it there. Then on Thursday I was invited to another awesome event. This was a baking challenge organised by Smart Energy GB which is a national Government campaign, rolling out Smart Meter’s across the UK and bringing the energy system up to date. It was hosted by Ian Cumming (the runner-up from the 2015 series of the Great British Bake Off). It is so funny as most of you already know that I don’t cook or bake anything but guess what? I won one of the challenges! LOL, I couldn’t believe it! The prize was £150 in vouchers for either Amazon or John Lewis! I was SO LUCKY!!!

This morning I met Jo @jo_jofrost in London and she is just amazing!! She has just launched a new book with great tecniques to use for bedtime routine! (“Jo Frost’s Toddler Rules”) It was an exciting morning for sure! 😃💕 #bathbookbed @tots100

Now to the linky. The commenting was good at the end. You guys always surprises me which is great!!  I’m so grateful for that. I really appreciate you taking the time to come back to the linky to comment and especially to go and spread more love to the posts that needed more comments. I just love when I see lots of comments from this linky!  Not considering the hosts and co-hosts posts, I have more than 20 people making more than 11 comments. Then we have about 6 people commenting on more than 20 posts. These numbers are FANTASTIC! Thank you so much.

  • One post had 20 comments just from this linky, so that really was fantastic!
  • There were 3 other posts that had  19, 18 and 16 comments!
  • There were only 4 post with 3 comments.
  • The rest of the posts had between 4 and 20 comments!
  • Also for this week, the last couple of posts that linked up (link 109 and link 110) had 10 comments and 6 comments respectively (you will always receive comments no matter at what stage of the linky you link up).

We had 5 people that didn’t comment on the post linked up before their post. I’m very happy with this number. Let’s try to reduce it even more! Thank you so much for making an effort.  I know we can make this happen!!

Thank you guys for continuing to reading the Thank You email on Thursdays. It is nice to see that you come back and actually get the time to check which posts need some love. Thank you very much!!!

NOTE: If you receive a lot of comments, try to reciprocate to the ones that have taken the time to comment on your post. It is all about being generous between each other and spreading lots of love. I can see this is also happening more lately and I’m very happy to see that.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS: PLEASE start with commenting on the post linked up before yours first and then go around commenting as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).

Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. I read and liked all your comments! I can’t go and comment on all of your posts because of the lack of time. However you will always receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).

I would like to say THANK YOU so much to RACHEL from Life at Home with Mrs B and LYNNE from New Mummy Blog for helping me with the commenting this week! They have been AMAZING! They were both FANTASTIC! I have really enjoyed co-hosting with them! 🙂

FeaturedPost_BeautyBabyAndMe

My first guest co-host this week is FIONA from Beauty, Baby and Me. I’m so excited to co-host with Fiona this week. This is her first time as a co-host here so I’m really looking forward to that. She has been so supportive of the linky since she started linking up last year and I’m really grateful for that. I’m sure most of you are familiar with her blog. Her blog is full of positivity and good energy and she is so happy and friendly!

FeaturedPost_Dot_Makes_4

My second guest co-host is LAURA from Dot Makes 4.  This is also the first time that I’m co-hosting with Laura and I’m super excited too. She is lovely and it is a pleasure to have her! Please give her some love to her social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets so please add her twitter handle (@DotMakes4) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally she has a guest co-host post,  I THINK I’M GETTING OLD…..  linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!!

FeaturedPost_Candyfloss_and_Dreams

The person who commented the most last week was KAYLEIGH from CANDYFLOSS & DREAMS. I have featured Kayleigh before as she is always commenting a lot! This time she smashed it again and commented the most! I’m so excited as she has been really good spreading lots of love. She commented on 38 posts!!! How FANTASTIC is that? Thank you so much KAYLEIGH! You are AMAZING!

FeaturedPost_ThisGloriousLife

The second person who commented a lot this week was again MADELINE from This Glorious Life. This is the second time that I’m featuring Madeline. She has been linking with us for a few weeks and since then she has been great with her commenting. I love when we have new people joining us for a few weeks and then they are the ones that do the best commenting. She has been super generous this week, commenting on 34 posts which is BRILLIANT! Thank you so much MADELINE! Her post from last week was Just take the damn photo. Please go to her post and give her more love if you can!

Featured Post The Speed Bump

The third person who has commented a lot this week was MADDY from The Speed Bump. I have featured Maddy before as she is always commenting a lot! I’m so excited as she has been really good spreading lots of love. She commented on 33 posts!!! FANTASTIC! Thank you so much MADDY! You are A STAR! [do_widget id=”text-21″ title=false]

Now let’s carry on with the linky:

RULES:

Each week I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a back link on my new linky post each Saturday!

1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.

2. You can link up to 2 posts per week.

3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.

4. Comment on one of the hosts posts (choose one that you would like to comment on as I will be linking up 2 posts every week if possible). Then comment the guest co-hosts. Then comment on the post which is linked up immediately before yours and finally any other post that you would like to comment on. That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).

5. This linky will be open every Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until Wednesday at 11.59 pm.

6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, Laura @DotMakes4 and Fiona @BeautyBabyandMe and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.

7. Finally, if you could please follow A Moment With Franca (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest , Bloglovin, Google+ and You Tube) that would be fantastic!! 😉

I look forward to reading and commenting your posts!! 🙂

✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling b ✨Breakfast✨.Nothing like a healthy filling breakfast, right? I have been trying to keep eating a good breakfast every morning to help me with my low iron! .Most days I have branflakes and sometimes weetabix but Fridays to Sundays, I make a little effort and prepare overnight oats. I love them! They are so tasty and leave me satisfy for hours which means not craving for snacks until lunch time! Win win 😀.I prepare the oats with chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and leave it overnight. In the morning, I serve it with strawberries, blueberries, banana and honey. It is so good! 😋 I vary the fruit that I put in but everything else is the same..What do you like eating for breakfast?.#overnightoats #oatsforbreakfast #easybreakfast #simplebreakfast #togobreakfast #quickbreakfast #breakfastideas #healthybreakfastideas #breakfastinspo #breakfastbowl #breakfastgoals #breakfastlover #oatmealbowl #breakfastclub #oatmealbowl
✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So ✨Teacher’s Strike Day✨.Happy hump day! So we have our first teacher’s strike day today which means no school and learning from home..Bella is doing her school work via Google classroom so she will follow her normal school day that way and Sienna doesn’t have a structured day from school today so she should have a day off but we have agreed for her to do some work too, so she will be reading, practicing for her spelling test and doing some maths. This way we can all have a productive day 😉, well hopefully! 😬. Have you been affected by the strike today? ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unf ✨Happy Friday✨.Did you have a good week? Unfortunately, it wasn’t that good for us because the girls have been under the weather. Bella started first with a sore throat and high fever for a few days and then when Bella got better, Sienna started! She got a horrible cough but no temperature. Her cough was that bad that she couldn’t sleep very well for a couple of nights. They are both much better now and back to school.. The weather hasn’t helped either. It has been so cold lately! I literally feel frozen all the time. Thankfully it is looking better atm as the temperatures are starting to rise. I decided to get my flu vaccine, so I hope it protects me from all these viruses that are going around! Have you had the flu vaccine too? .On another note, I went yesterday to a parents meeting about GCSE options for Bella. I can’t believe she needs to think about it already ahead of Year 9. The time really goes fast. Are your kids dealing with GCSEs too?.📸 Sharing this beautiful bouquet of flowers from @freddiesflowers to brighten up our day.#flowerarrangement #flowerdelivery #bouquetofflowers #flowersmakemehappy #loveflowers #flowersoftheday #flowersoftheweek #flowerlover #freshflowers #flowerobsession #bunchofflowers #foreverflowers #flowersofinstagram #homesweethome
