Welcome back to #KCACOLS. I hope you are all well! We had 68 link ups! THANK YOU ALL so much for being part of the linky! I really appreciate your support. For new people joining us this week, I really hope you like #KCACOLS and that you come back again next time! You can also find out more about this linky in the #KCACOLS linky page! 🙂
HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY #KCACOLS!
I can’t believe this linky has been running for 2 years already! I was supposed to mention something about it in the last linkup but I completely forgot! Life has been so busy lately that I missed such an important anniversary! I started this linky on 4th Oct 2015 and we are still here! I feel so proud of what we have built! This is a lovely community and we have people linking with us who have done so since we started which is so lovely! I hope you have enjoyed being part of this linky as much as I have and I hope we keep growing and can be around for much longer! Fingers crossed! 🙂
We have had another busy, but at the same time fun, 2 weeks. I attended the YouTube event organised by Britmums which was very interesting. I learnt a few things that I didn’t know before such as technical things like the type of lighting and where to find all the analytics information we need to improve our channel.
We also went as a family to a super cute pony riding school which was part of a My Little Pony on Tiny Pop event. My girls absolutely loved this event, especially Bella who love animals! We also went to the multimedia screening of Wonder. OMG that movie is super emotional! I really recommend you to watch it. It has a very important message about bullying. The cast includes Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson. Yesterday, Nick and I had fun at the Vuelio Blog Awards where it was lovely to see a few familiar faces. Finally today we have been to the press show of The Snowman theatre show in London. It was lovely! My girls, especially Sienna loved it! It is a really well done show which I highly recommend.
Each link up, I love sharing a couple of photos from my last 2 weeks on Instagram, so here are two of my favourites:
*MUMSNET INFLUENCERS EVENT* I was so hesitated about attending this event because I didn’t know what to expect. They had to change venue at the last minute and some people were affected so they couldn’t come. For me, this last minute change meant that my journey was shorter so I could be there within 10 mins by car. This changed my mind and pushed me to go. I was feeling very tired that week due to my recent trip to Peru. I was still suffering with jetlag and hadn’t managed to stop since getting back due to pre-organised commitments so I was feeling knackered by Saturday. But something inside me was telling me to go. Not sure why but I had that gut feeling that I should not miss it! And I am so glad I listened to that instinct because this event was fantastic! Lately, I have been feeling that there was less for me to learn from conferences but this time was different! The level was high and all the speakers came from the source of the topic. For example we had someone from Instagram that came from LA. The insight of this session was pretty good. Then we had a session of how to choose the correct camera for blogging or vlogging from the people from Canon. This was super handy. Then we had a really advanced talk about Facebook. This session was so advanced that I felt I needed to pickup up my knowledge on facebook a little bit more. We also had a business/branding session that for me was the best. I learnt so much about treating my blog as a business and the tips and resources we got were invaluable! I’m so grateful for that! We were given food and drinks (lunch and dinner) as well as tea & coffee throughout the day! And all of this was for FREE! How AMAZING is that? Another thing I would like to highlight is that the concept was about helping us to be better influencers and to up our game. That is why they didn't mix us up with other brands like they did last year at Blogfest. And there was no goodie bag either. It was not necessary. I really liked the concept and I think I learnt so much from it! I am now really looking forward to attending more #mumsnetinfluencers events in the future! Thank you, @mumsnet ❤️ SWIPE LEFT TO SEE MORE PHOTOS & BLOGGERS! ☺️
*London Zoo* We were invited to stay overnight at @zsllondonzoo in their Gir Lion Lodges. The lodges were opened to the public in 2016 and have been a sucess so far! It was the most surreal experience ever! Sleeping next to the lions was AMAZING! Waking up the next morning with them roaring was out of this world! We loved it! If you have the opportunity to do something like this you should do it! You will love it! Have you experienced something like this too? If not, will you? #girlionlodges #girlodges #zoolife #londonzoo
#KCACOLS ON INSTAGRAM
Thank you so much for using the #KCACOLS hashtag on Instagram for all your photos. It is lovely to see your photos there! I would love it if more of you could use the hashtag for your photos and of course it would be even better if we all also spread some love there! I am featuring 2 photos from the community that have caught my eye since the last link up.
This time I’m featuring photos by:
- LEANNE from Litte Life of Scrap
Here’s my two from last weekend looking all cute and smart at a family friends wedding. It’s been a hard week for me with my mum in hospital, the husband being unwell and my nephew being poorly. On top of my sister starting a new job and my job being insanely busy and stressful. Oh and in case you didn’t know. Christmas is just around the corner. This (hopefully) explains the radio silence. I’ve been trying to keep on track, keep my head on straight and relax in the evening now staring at my screen. Hope insta people you are doing well! . . #littlefierceones#workingmummy #workingparents #mummyblogger #mummy #parenting #celebratingmotherhoodIG #instakids #ig_motherhood #thehappynow #myhappycapture #mumtoboys #letthembelittle #dailyparenting #littleloves #devlopinglife #Pblogger #KCACOLS #thismamaloves #ukparentingblogger #mumsofinstagram #reallifemum
2. JADE from The Parenting Jungle
An Insta hack means I lost some of my favourite pics so it may not be the perfect pose, light or shade, may not be aesthetically perfect but this portrays my gorgeous, clumsy welly boot wearing grumpus of a six year old perfectly. I have been a hormonal wreck the last week and pretty short tempered. He ate my croissant and I cried. But all in all despite extra clinginess and talking back....so much talking back...I think my little man is doing pretty well with impending siblinghood. How did anyone else's kids react to pregnancy and expecting new family members? #Littlefierceones #Happylittlebuttons #Mydarlingmemory #WorldofLittles #Rememberingthesedays #Lionessmama #Myhappycapture #Mummyshot #Perfectandproud #Thismamaloves #DevelopingLife #Lifecloseup #Curiouslittleexplorers #funseekingkids #letsgolittles #Oureverydaymoments #Candidchildhood #Letthembelittle #ChildrenofInstagram #Dailyparenting #KCACOLS #Tribalchat, #Ukparentbloggers, #Totsphoto

THANK YOU to all of you that have joined the #KCACOLS CROWD Facebook Group. You can join us here. Also if you do join, please send me a direct message with the name of your blog so then I know who you are without having to figure out your blog name 🙂

NOW BACK TO THE LINKY
Unfortunately, we still have 12 posts with less than 4 comments. I was hoping to get smaller figure but it didin’t happen this time. I have chased some people very late about not commenting the post before theirs so I hope this number improves perhaps tomorrow.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE CHANGES TO THE LINKY
The linky is a fortnightly linky. It will be open for 2 weeks until the second Wednesday at 8 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
The rules will be the same, the only difference is the amount of time that the linky will be open for. The co-hosts and I will be allowed to change our posts on the following Saturday after the linky is live. Please be aware of these changes during the second week.
I would suggest that you link up one post each week so you will be able to share something different and current each week. I will also be more strict regarding commenting on the post before yours.
I’m not tweeting individual people once the linky is live but I will tweet the people that have been featured and mentioned. I’ll also post a link to the new linky post on the KCACOLS Facebook Group, pin it on my Twitter account and on my Facebook page together with some generic tweets. I will of course, email all of you the link. If you could also share it by clicking the link below that would be FABULOUS!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW LINKERS:
PLEASE START by commenting on the post linked up before yours FIRST and then comment on any other posts as much as you would like. Also, use the hashtag #KCACOLS when commenting (this is indeed very important so I can then see how many comments you are doing and then be able to feature you in my linky post which is always great for you as you get a backlink which helps improve your DA).
Thank you so much for all your comments on the host posts and the linky post. As always, I have read and liked all your comments! We will do our best for you to receive a comment from someone on behalf of the linky (either the co-hosts or me).
MONTHLY GUEST CO-HOST
This week the “monthly” guest co-host is TRACEY from One Frazzled Mum. Here are her social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest). She will also be retweeting your tweets this week so please add her twitter handle (@frazzledmumblog) to your tweets as well as mine. Finally, she has a guest co-host post, Celebrating Birthdays with the Bags of Love Personalised Photo Cushion linked up too. Please if you could go there and add a comment it would be AWESOME!
GUEST CO-HOSTS FROM THE PREVIOUS LINK UP
I would like to say THANK YOU so much to MAINY from Myrealfairy.com and CASSIE from Gorgeous Georges Mama for helping me with the commenting this week! They have both done this before and have done a fantastic job! It was fab co-hosting with them again! 🙂

The person who commented the most was BREAD from Queer Little Family. And she did it AGAIN! Hurrah! Bread is back to the top 3 commenting for the second linkup in a row! How fantastic is that! We love here here at #KCACOLS because of how generous she is with her commenting! She was AMAZING commenting on 40 posts! Yay! One of her posts from the last link up was My Son Drank Bath Water and Other Bath Toys. Please go to the post and give some more love if you can.
The second person who commented a lot was ANN from Rainbows Are Too Beautiful. It is fantastic to have Ann back within the top 3 commenters! She is also very generous with her commenting. She has FANTASTIC job. She has commented on 34 posts! Yay! One of her posts from the last link up was Staying sane in the run up to Christams – Echo Dot Giveaway. FEATURED POSTS – TOP 6
Behind Bread, Ann and Beth were VICKY from The Mummy Bubble with 16 comments, RACHEL from Ordinary Hopes with 15 comments and LISA from Lisa Pomerantzster with 14 comments. Thank you so much to all of you! 🙂
Please do not forget to follow and check out the #KCACOLS Pinterest Board. We have pinned all your posts from last week’s linky so please go and have a look. There are some great posts that deserve a read!
Now let’s carry on with the linky:
Every 2 weeks I will choose 6 people who have commented A LOT within the linky. Three will be featured and another three will be mentioned on my fortnightly Saturday linky post. This means that 6 people will get a backlink on my new linky post every other Saturday!
1. Be sure to grab the #KCACOLS badge which can be found below or on my sidebar. Simply copy the code from the box below the badge and add it to the text/html at the bottom of your post or place it on your blog sidebar.
2. You can link up to 2 posts. I recommend you to link up one post each week to get the most of the linky.
3. You can share anything that you would like. It is open to absolutely any subject and also you can link up posts that are old or new. You are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once and I expect you to put my badge or a link to my linky and of course to follow the rules regarding commenting.
4. Comment on:
- one of the hosts’ posts (choose one that you would like to comment).
- the monthly guest co-host post.
- the guest co-hosts posts.
- the post which is linked up immediately before yours.
- and finally, any other post that you would like to comment on.
That way everybody receives at least two comments (one from the host/guest co-hosts and one from others).
5. This linky will be open every other Saturday from 10 pm and will remain open until the following 2nd Wednesday at 08.00 pm or until we reach 100 link ups, whichever comes first.
6. If you would like us to tweet your post that is absolutely fine, just tweet your link to me @WithFranca, TRACEY @frazzledmumblog, SARAH @sarahjcronshaw and KELLY ANNE @Mimiroseandme and we will retweet it. Please remember to use the hashtag #KCACOLS.
I look forward to reading and commenting your posts!! 🙂
