One of my dreams is to be able to organise a blogger meet up. I’ve had this idea since I created #KCACOLS that has become a lovely blogging community which is growing every week. I have always wanted to get all the KCACOLS linkers together for a cool meet up. I attempted a meet up last year but it didn’t work out due to my daughter Bella being admitted to hospital having had an asthma attack. Unfortunately, I had to cancel it so we didn’t manage to meet up.
After this first attempt, it has been hard to organise another one because in the autumn and winter its not the same. But now that the weather is changing, this idea could be a reality again. Organising a meet up will need a lot of planning and organisation. It is not easy. I know it will be hard but I remember organising my daughters 5th Birthday Party with all her friends from reception and it was lovely, even though we ended up super tired, LOL!
One of the most important things when organising a meetup, a birthday party, an event, a conference or even a blogging award ceremony is choosing a venue. This is your starting point and it’s only once you’ve decided on the venue that you can carry on with the rest of the planning.
There are lots of trendy places to go in London and I have been searching online for summer party venues in London to get some ideas of cool places and I got carried away and found some amazing venues that I can only dream of one day being able to use. Of course, this is not a reality right now, but there’s nothing wrong with dreaming right? 😉
Here is a list of my favourite 4 venues that I would love to host a meetup or even attend an event as a guest! 😉
The Artillery Garden at the HAC
A spectacular setting for any summer event. It is set within the secure grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company, against the stunning backdrop of the historic Armoury House.
The Garden Room at Syon Park, TW7
This is a luxurious purpose-built venue set within the stunning grounds of Syon House and offers an idyllic setting for corporate and private events.
The Pavilion at the Tower of London
It is located just a short walk from Tower Hill Station. This venue Ioffers summer entertaining with a dramatic backdrop. The purpose-built venue takes pride of place in the shadow of one of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.
Old Billingsgate
This is a prestigious venue in the heart of the City. If you are looking for awe-inspiring architecture in an enviable location, this venue is your choice. This Grade II listed building offers a vast summer event space with breathtaking interior details. overlooking the River Thames and South Bank.
All these venues are breathtaking and they will be an amazing place to host a party. How amazing would it be to have my #KCACOLS meet up in one of these venues!
What do you think of these venues? Are you organising a summer party? What are your tips? Which venues do you think are cool for the summer?
