Our weekend visiting parks

amomentwithfranca · 20 June 2015 · 17 Comments

Last weekend we didn’t have great weather in London as it was cloudy and wet. I hate those days because it is always very difficult to choose what to do with the girls. Of course we always prefer sunny days but the reality is that we will never know what the weather is going to be in England, it is always a gamble trying to plan ahead.

Anyway, we didn’t want to stay at home, so we decided to go to some of the parks we have in the area. On Saturday we went to Roundwood Park which has lovely gardens with colourful flowers and plants.

The girls were very happy playing in the playground. Sienna has now grown up so much that she can enjoy the playground even more. It is lovely to see them so happy.

Nick and I had a go on the swings as well – it was so much fun. We laughed a lot like we were kids again LOL. It is really rejuvenating when you laugh, it really makes you feel so much happier.

This park has so many beautiful areas, we love to explore around. There is also an area with a bird exhibition but I didn’t take a photo of that. What a shame, maybe next time!

I love to spend time like this with my girls. I was so lucky that they were happy to have pictures taken with me today because they’re grumpy or tired sometimes and only want to play but that day they were so happy.

On Sunday we went to King Edward VII Park. This park has such a lovely open green area which gives you a lot of peace and we took lots of lovely photos there too.

Bella was having a blast on Sunday, enjoying the swings, laughing so much it put a big smile on my face. There is nothing more amazing than watching your kids having a good time and being incredibly happy.

My little Sienna was also incredibly happy today – she is such a cutie pie! 🙂

I enjoyed every minute with my girls. We had a great time despite the weather.

Two lovely looking parks, I love the plants but I bet the girls favoured the swings and rightly so. there is nothing better than watching your children have fun outdoors and those smiles say so much. Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids.

You all look so happy Franca! I can’t believe how many parks there are in London, I didn’t realise there were that many. It’s so much fun being silly and joining in on the swings isn’t it! And it is so nice to smile and have a laugh, it really does make you feel rejuvenated. It sounds like you’ve had such a beautiful weekend with your family! 😀 Thank you so much for linking up to #whatevertheweather x
