We have been dreaming of a family holiday in Italy for a long time. I was born in Peru but my family background is Italian, so I grew up surrounded by their culture too. Due to my connection to this country, a family holiday in Italy was ideal for us. We have visited France, Spain, Peru and Greece before so now thanks to Eurocamp, we can finally tick Italy from our list of places to visit together as a family.
Ad – We were invited by Eurocamp to stay at Pra’ Delle Torri for this blog post.

CHOOSING PRA’ DELLE TORRI IN ITALY AS OUR HOLIDAY CENTRE DESTINATION
Fountain
Eurocamp gave us the option to choose our preferable park and as I mentioned above, we knew we wanted a park in Italy. We just didn’t know where in Italy and which park we wanted from all the choices. We were after a park with pools and waterslides, close to the beach, comfortable accommodation, entertainment for the girls and of course, well located.

Where is Pra’ Delle Torri?
After doing our research, Pra’ Delle Torri ticked all the boxes and more. We loved that it was located in the Venetian Riviera, in the coastal town of Caorle, just 27 miles from Venice in the Veneto region. This excited us a lot as we wanted to do a day trip to Venice.
How do I get to Pra’ Delle Torri?
There are 3 nearby airports: Venice (VCE) at 79 km which is the closest one, Trieste (TRS) at 83kms and Treviso (TFS) at 84 km. Out of these three, Venice Marco Polo is the closest and most convenient option to reach Pra’ Delle Torri. There you can find Venice car rental that offers a variety of car models, perfect for day trips to towns or exploring the stunning Venetian coastline.
Our accommodation zone
We drove to Pra’ Delle Torri. It is a long journey so we recommend you to take your time to organise your stops. We had an incident that made us miss our flights which would have been only 2 hrs journey. We didn’t want this to ruin our holiday so we decided to drive instead. For that reason, we thought the best way to make the most of our stay was to cross via the Eurotunnel to Calais later that day and drive through the night.
Nick and I took turns driving the car, so we managed to sleep in between. We were very determined to arrive sooner rather than later so we only stopped for petrol, food, to use the bathroom or to stretch our legs.
Beach
Considering all the stops I think our journey was about 24 hrs. We really enjoyed the scenery though. Crossing the border between France and Italy in Mont Blanc with the Alpes as a background, was so beautiful. Coming back home we decided to stop for the night so we stayed in a hotel in Dijon, this way our journey was more relaxed.

TYPE OF ACCOMMODATIONS AVAILABLE AT PRA’ DELLE TORRI HOLIDAY CENTRE
What are the best places to stay in Pra’ Delle Torri?
Hotel
They have a campsite with spacious pitches and toilets, a fabulous Village with apartments, bungalows and mobile homes and a Hotel. So as you can see they have a wide choice of accommodation options to satisfy every need and budget.
Eurocamp kindly provided us with a 3-bedroom Azure Plus for our accommodation which was part of their top-of-the-range mobile homes.
3 Bedroom Azure Plus Holiday Homes
View of our accommodation
The master bedroom features a European Queen size bed and there are two further bedrooms (1 twin and 1 bunk). It comes with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher and a full-size fridge-freezer. It also has a large, part-covered decked terrace, with outside furniture.
Decked Terrace
The accommodation was very comfortable for us because it comes with 3 bedrooms and we are a family of 4 so 2 bedrooms would have been enough but that extra bedroom made a difference to us. The girls used the extra room as a play area which also gave them some extra space and entertainment.
Laundry
It doesn’t have a washing machine but there was a laundry point very close to our accommodation where we were able to wash and dry our dirty clothes for 4 Euros a cycle, so a total of 8 Euros for a wash and dry. It was useful for us to have one so close but they have several laundry points around the park.
Bunk bedroom
Features:
- Sleeps 8 (max 6 adults)
- 1 double bedroom, 1 twin & 1 bunk room
- Large, part-covered decked terrace
- Comfortable living with double sofa bed
- Duvets and pillows
- Dishwasher & full-size fridge-freezer
- Oven, grill and gas hob
- Microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine
- Modern shower room, hairdryer
- Mosquito net and blackout blinds in bedrooms
- Gas BBQ (where permitted
Bed linen
Things to take into consideration:
- The Bed linen (duvet cover and pillow covers) and towels are not included. You are welcome to bring your own if you have space, if not you can hire your linen in advance for an extra cost (£66). We were kindly given this option.
- There was no WIFI within our Holiday Home, so you will need to use your mobile data. There are common areas where you can get free Wifi like the reception, bars, restaurants, hotel reception, the Square in front of the hotel and some areas near the pool and beach. So if you use your internet a lot like us, I recommend you to get a package with your mobile provider that will give you sufficient data for your trip.
Welcome Pack
- A welcome pack full of useful items for the kitchen to see you through until you head over to the supermarket is available for an extra cost (£12.50). You will need to pre-order it before you travel. It includes tea, coffee, sugar, cream, jam, olive oil, crisps, orange juice, water, salt & pepper, and two small bottles of wine (red and white).
We used our scooters a lot
- Bring scooters or bikes if you are driving and have space. They were very handy. Otherwise, you can hire bikes at the centre. The location of our mobile home was great. We were able to reach everything within walking distance. However, being such a big holiday centre, we were glad we brought our scooters with us. We used them a lot as they made our journeys quicker. It was also handy to fetch things from the supermarket or come and go to the beach and pool areas faster.
ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE AT PRA’ DELLE TORRI HOLIDAY CENTRE
What are the best activities in Pra’ Delle Torri?
This park is a family-friendly centre that offers endless activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Pools & Beach
Pirate Island
Pra’ Delle Torri has a wonderful selection of pools. They have two adult pools and two family pools whether you are looking to swim some lengths or have a splash around.
And for the adults and kids, there are plenty of waterslides to enjoy like the super long six-lane toboggan slide or the brilliant aquatube waterchute. They also have a whirlpool and Jacuzzi where you can really wind down.
They will provide you with a wristband so you can have access to the direct beach. There are automated gates around the centre so it is easy to get in and out. Kids under 12 years old need their parents to get in and out.
Gate to access the direct beach or to get back to the centre
The beach has sunbeds that you can rent for a charge. When we were there, they were free but as soon as the summer season starts you will need to pay. It is the same for the sunbeds around the pools. And they are very comfortable. Also, please note that everyone must wear a swimming cap. Another option is to wear a hat all the time.
Kids Clubs
This park runs its own kids’ club which is available for kids 5 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years. They offer handcraft workshops, games, shows and even a Mini Disco which will keep them entertained for hours.
We didn’t have the chance to try the kids’ club because my girls were actually happy splashing in the pool all day but it was great to know that they had this option if we needed it.
Fantasy World Funfair
They have a large and safe space for kids. It is open in the evenings and it is equipped with colourful inflatables of different shapes and sizes, various types of rides and a mini-cart track. They even have a train that goes around the village.
This is definitely a fun place for the kids to spend their evenings. It was Sienna’s favourite place to visit every day.
Open-air theatre
The open-air theatre has shows, music and games every evening which is perfect to entertain the whole family.
Activity Park
The park has over 1500 metres equipped with a skatepark with ramps to use with their skates, bikes or scooters, a parkour area, a cream football pitch, and a phono zone for listening to and making music as well as a chill house for socializing and elements for chatting.
WHERE TO EAT AT PRA’ DELLE TORRI
Sporting Restaurant
Blue Moon Gelateria
There are 5 restaurants inside the Pra ‘Delle Torri Holiday Center, each one stands out for its position and gastronomic proposals but all share excellent food and experience.
Takeaway
The food was amazing here. As expected really because there is nothing like Italian food. One of the nights we ordered takeaway from Sporting restaurant and the food was delicious. We also went several times to Blue Moon Gelateria. The ice cream was out of this world. So yummy.
EXPLORING THE LOCAL AREA
Caorle is a lively fishing town with lots of restaurants and bars. It is just 3km from the park. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations for sea lovers. It is known all over the world as little Venice. Their historic town centre is a miniature Venice with narrow streets and small squares.
Lido di Jesolo is also about 12km away, a thriving town that was purpose-built for tourism with a host of restaurants, takeaways and galleries.
Closer to the park you can find the water park Aqualandia and Jesolandia amusement park where you can have fun on various rides and have a go at go-karting.
DAY OUT TO VENICE
Our trip wouldn’t be complete without visiting Venice. It was so close to Pra’ Delle Torri that it was an activity that we really wanted to do while we were there. It is known as ‘the pearl of the Adriatic’. It was my second time in Venice and as expected it was amazing. Beautiful as always.
There are also other beautiful places nearby that you should visit like the islands of the Venetian lagoon. There is Murano (a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon), Burano (known for its typical coloured houses), the island of Torcello, Sant’Erasmo, Lido of Venice and the San Nicolò Riviera.
OUR THOUGHTS ABOUT PRA’ DELLE TORRI HOLIDAY CENTRE
We loved our holiday at Pra’ Delle Torri in Italy. We had a fantastic time as a family. They had everything we needed to keep ourselves entertained or to just chill out. It was well organised and very clean which was very important. The location was perfect and having so many pools and direct access to the beach was ideal. The food was amazing too. We are still craving their pasta, pizzas and especially their gelatos that we had most of the nights.
Check my “Pra’ Delle Torri” Instagram Highlight with more videos and photos about our trip. I have also shared Q&A there with questions that could be useful too.
Thank you so much Eurocamp for such a wonderful holiday. I highly recommend Eurocamp for your next family holiday destination.
