Looking Adorable with Petit Bateau

amomentwithfranca · 24 July 2016 · 66 Comments

I was so excited to be approached by the lovely people at Petit Bateau. They have gorgeous kids clothing. I was really happy to be able to choose an outfit for each of my girls and have fun trying the clothes on them. It was really difficult to choose an outfit as I really like them all, LOL! It took me a fair amount of time to decide, but I finally chose 2 outfits that I think are adorable!

Petit Bateau FI

If you haven’t heard of Petit Bateau, they have a heritage of 123 years! Wow, this is amazing! This fantastic company was born in 1893 at the Saint Joseph de Troyes factory in France. For years, they have been offering the best quality products with a recognisable design – the stripes being their most iconic one. They have lots of great designs with stripes that I really love. Not only do they have clothes for kids but also for adults, so you can imagine how tempted I was to get something for me too, 😉

Petit Bateau Outfits

When the delivery arrived, I dressed the girls in their respective outfits. OMG, they looked adorable! I really liked it! I couldn’t waste the opportunity, so we went off to have some lunch at The Freemasons Arms, a cool restaurant in Hampstead. They have a nice garden area which I thought would be great to take some cute photos of the girls modelling their clothes. I was so excited about it, LOL!

BELLA’S OUTFIT

The outfit I chose for Bella was the GIRLS’ WHIMSICAL STRIPED DRESS which I paired with GIRLS’ PLAIN STRETCH COTTON LEGGINGS. I love the design. As I said, they have lots of outfits with stripes, this dress being a great example. I like red with the combination of the blue and white, making the whole dress look really cool.

Petit Bateau Collage 2

This dress is super practical for the whole summer. The dress has been crafted in soft, comfortable premium cotton jersey and features a trendy, original print reminiscent of the iconic Petit Bateau nautical shirt design. The piece features the feminine touch of a large bow at the waistline. The material of this dress is 100% cotton which is fantastic.

The leggings were simple but the perfect match to the dress as it was not hot enough to wear this dress without them. These leggings are crafted in plain stretch jersey, a blend of cotton and elastane which provides optimal comfort and a perfect fit throughout the day. The good thing about these leggings is that she can wear them with various skirts and dresses or simply with a top. They are available in a range of colours: grey, white, red, pink and blue. I chose the last one, ‘smoking’ blue. The material is 93% cotton and 7% elastane.

The dress was £16.80 and it was actually reduced from £28 so it was a nice 40% discount. The leggings were £17.00, but the cost varies between £15.50 and £17 depending on the size of the child.

SIENNA’S OUTFIT

The outfit I chose for Sienna was from their newborn/baby collection. This was the BABY GIRL’S MILLERAIES-STRIPED T-SHIRT together with BABY GIRL PLAIN LEGGINGS. This outfit was really adorable. I thinks Sienna looks really cute in it. I love the red and white stripes.

The short-sleeved T-shirt top is made in 1×1 rib with a milleraies stripe. I love the idea of having the option of the shoulder opening with two poppas on each side. The little bow is just divine which really adds a feminine touch to the T-shirt. The material is 100% cotton. I love the details and the colour really suits Sienna. It looked really nice combined with the blue leggings. The top looks very comfortable and Sienna really enjoyed wearing it.

The leggings were the same style as the ones that Bella had. These leggings are a collection basic and come in six colours . You can combine these practical leggings with dresses from the collection or with a blouse for a more casual look. It has a silkscreened sailboat at the top of the leggings. which I think is really cute. The material is 100% cotton.

The top is £12.00 and was actually reduced from £20.00 so it was also a nice 40% discount. The leggings are £6.90 reduced from £11.50, but again the price depends on the size of the child.

Both girls were very happy with their outfits. After our little shoot we went to a nearby playground where they were playing happily and were very comfortable in their clothes. No complaints, just me freaking out every time I thought the outfits were going to get dirty, LOL!

You can find more about Petit Bateau on Facebook, Twitter,  YouTube, browsing their photos on Istagram or browsing their boards on Pinterest.

Have you bought at Petit Bateau before? Do you like their collection? What do you think of the outfits I chose for my little girls? Leave a comment below as I would love to read what you think.

*Disclaimer: I received these outfits for my girls from Petit Bateau in exchange for a blog post. However all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Thanks for stopping by,

Love you all ❤️

Franca  💋

Very envious of this collaboration – I love petit bateau!!! Arthur used to have a lovely white cardigan (sadly too small now) but we have some great polo style tops for him and he always looks really smart and lovely in their clothes. I did but some long sleeve tops with collars and button neck for him a couple of months ago, with poppers between the legs (like a body suit) but the front part of the poppers was bigger than the back making me wonder if the collar/buttons opening at the front of the neck was actually supposed to be worn back to front as a new kind of style!! (I didn’t try it out just in case people thought I’d lost the plot and dressed him backwards lol!) your girls look lovely! #kcacols
